Playing around waiting for games today and did some of these for the hell of it. Pittsburgh wanted to trade up to 13 and offered their 2nd in this one.

I like Delane. Also I like Moten.

Lew and Simpson I can live with.
Just read a post on reddit a guy did a whole offseason. Had us trading up 2 spots for Delane which makes no sense. Had us taking a RT at 29 which also makes no sense. Drafted Nussmeier in the 2nd which I think I'd stop watching the draft for the rest of my life if we did. And then took a WR in the 4th that is uninspiring.

Nussmeier has some good film. Not sure what was going on with LSU this year, and he deserves taking the hit he's taken for it, but I suspect a lot was outside his control as well. Thus my take that he's going to be a decent value when he goes off the board because it won't be high. Whereas Simpson, also lot of things I'm not sure about with him, but he'll require more draft real estate and I don't think will be good value for the talent. Unless the QB board changes a lot of course which is possible.

And I don't know why fans get all convinced that these early site boards are gospel irt where these guys are slotted. They always change a ton. So for Delane for example it's just silly to act like you need to trade up 2 spots for him.

Also there's a lot of good corners in this draft. I haven't looked at anywhere near all of them, but I like quite a few of them. Only one I wouldn't touch is the Tenn kid due to that ACL. Nothing against him, good game and all but if he's got one ACL he's off my list.

Yeah I've never been impressed with Nuss and this year pushed him even further down my list.

And I'd take McCoy without question. His tape is worthy of a top pick and if the Rams are ok with his recovery then sign me up without hesitation.

Posted in the other thread, just got through quite a bit of Gronowski tape and was pleasantly surprised. He's another non-ideal height QB that McVay might like. Spunky bastid.
