I'm not going to take injuries as an excuse. Up until the playoffs last year we get absolutely embarrassed and bent over against tough physical teams. We're a soft ass team.
And still won a Superbowl. I will take that every year

They could be..

But, between the missed easy TD and pick-6.. you and I both know what the biggest problem was tonight, by far.

Agree, but our D doesn't make any big plays, and we need them to in a game like this.

That throw that Stafford threw the pick-6 on is similar to what Jimmy throws all night without having to ever worry about getting pick-6'ed.

This isnt gonna be our year. Not with our schedule. Not without a deep threat WR. Not with our Oline. Not with Morris and the soft shell and no Von to help with the pass rush.

Way too predictable on offense. Only throwing to 2 guys...and not committing to running the ball consistently. McVay has to do better with what we have.

It'd be nice if we had a defense this stout. Can't think of many games we've been dominant like the Niners are this game.

Yeah that pick 6 was totally the OLines fault :D

The oline has been almost as bad as Stafford tonight and McVay has done jack shit to help either of them out. But people will blame Morris and the OL for this loss.
Both of those are a direct result of the absolutely decimated O-line

We just aren't a good team. No where close to last year. Defense is worse. Offense is worse.
They won a championship. Guys got paid. Had all offseason to celebrate. Are they just fat and content now? Lost their hunger?

McVay will need to rework some stuff but Ive got faith in him. He got us out of the November funk last season. Losing to a tough rival happens. Not the end of the world. We’ll get a lot of talented players back over next month and maybe add OBJ. Long season.

I'd like to think that way but we been watching football to long no offensive line will not be overcome and even if your talent pushes through and that's a big if your probably one and done. Trenches are the key to any football teams success. Now if we could at least generate pressure sacks strips turnovers etc then maybe but we don't have that either

Remember on our 3 game skid last year people said the same thing. Have faith.
Our team looked a lot different last year even taking in that three game losing streak.

My only hope is that Van Jefferson coming back, and hopefully Odell, this will be a different offense.

It's very hard to repeat in the NFL we all know this.

It's very hard to win in the NFL with as many IOL injuries as we have we all know this.

It's very hard to win in the NFL if all you can do is kick field goals on the road against a division rival we all know this.
