How much is Bailey costing Minny?

Bailey wanted the right situation, Vikings playoff team, that signed him as their kicker, Rams need a guy for just a couple weeks.

You're right on Ficken, though he was shaky seemed better in preseason, but I'm hoping that translates well for a few weeks.

The Rams have 4 WRs and a very impressive Return Specialist. Is Hodge a solid WR#5 or is it time to seek some temporary relief (Jordan Matthews, Malcolm Mitchell, Jeremy Maclin)? Or pull a NE and bring on Dez Bryant as WR#4 as insurance if anything happens to our big 3?

Not sure how much continuity matters for a kicker (holder, timing of snap, kickoff coverages, etc.), but it has to be somewhat hhelpful that Ficken is so familiar with the Rams.

After shaky outing vs Tenn,
Ficken looked good vs. SF, ATL, and in preseason.

Injury concerns made Cowboys part ways with Bailey... I’m glad we have Ficken instead, IMHO.

Hoping for speedy recovery for GZ, but Ficken is a decent replacement in a very shaky group of candidates.

What say we about the WR situation?
I am positive about Jo Jo Natson playing for Pharoh Cooper @ KR/PR.

I am also positive about developing JoJo as our 5th WR from this point on. I also have no issues with the consideration of grooming KhaDarel Hodge as future Rams WR & as our 6th WR whenever McVay feels the need. I saw enough in pre season to believ Hodge can be a good back up to Cooper Kupp as a slot possesion receiver in place of Pharoh Cooper WR unit spot. Finally I have seen enough from FS Isaiah Johnson on his replacing Mike Thomas as Gunner too.

I see Snead & McVay having assemble & signed a very solid overall comprehensive Ram team. Here very early the Rams take two hard hits in the WR unit just after 1 regular season game. The resources are here to fill the master Roster without too much damage or loss of power in the offense & minimize the loss of strength of our ST's & on top of the other two losses we lost an all pro kicker. A few years back if the Rams lost 2 previous season pro bowl players what would have happened?

Thats what I say about this . (y)

Fickin has a rough first game but seemed to do pretty well after that - no?

Quite well actually.

I really have to laugh at some of the posts here.

The Rams have been a (I love ‘em to death) fucking dumpster fire for 15 years - 15 years guys- and I read posts about a weak side edge rusher not being a pro bowler , or why the fuck didn’t we sign Bailey, or I’m a bit worried about WR depth, or what if Whit goes down, and Goff’s not elite, and our second year rookie LB isn’t all world yet, and and and....

What in the fuck does it take to satisfy you?

I see it similarly Boni. Our return teams are pro as F and open great lanes, so as long as Jojo keeps a handle on the ball he's going to be fine. I've been a bit disappointed by neither Thomas nor Reynolds showing much through preseason, Reynolds is a bit greener but yeah that's why I felt before the cutdowns that Hodge deserved real consideration. He's a guy who might actually develop into something we need down the road, which is a guy who can make contested catches, just get him on the PS and work him on those routes.

Coverage teams look great too. And they have Hekk makin things even harder for returners on top of that. Rams do have a little wiggle room with that bottom part of the roster to shake things up a bit, and I hope they do.
