...The way it looks right now, my bet is that two players from Seattle will be sitting this week because they couldn't control themselves in Jacksonville...
These kind of dumb mistakes by our team have been going on for years...
I know what you are talking about. So far this year Keenum has been hit in the head 7 times without a penalty being called. But hell, you brush Rodgers helmet and it's 15 yards. Hand goes across the face mask and doesn't grab anything, 15 yards. Vikings player tackled by the face mask nothing. The refs have really gone down hill the last few years.Ummm. I think you're forgetting this is the SEAHAWKS you're talking about. Let me remind you how this works: Rams need Eagles to beat Hawks, Hawks get EVERY 50/50 call and walk away with what is a tainted victory in my view. Eagles come to LA, get EVERY 50/50 call (and more) and walk away with tainted victory. Rams go to Seattle, and...you get the picture. NO WAY they get a suspension. Mark my words. Truly hoping I'm wrong.
I knew we were in for it as soon as the PI and the BS holding call on Sullivan when Gurley broke off his next big run on 2nd drive. I just said, yep, this thing is over before it starts. Then I proceeded to watch our DL being pulled on without any calls, and even a completely fabricated "leverage" call when the ref mistakenly assumed they'd miss that long FG kick so he needed to give them a 1st down.
The other call that irked me was the hit on Goff. Aikman discussed how tough Goff was as he walked back to the sideline after putting his helmet back on, but you think Wilson (add Brady and about every other QB other than Cam Newton) doesn't get a call on that play??? Our QB got his helmet RIPPED OFF HIS HEAD by the other guy's HELMET! This is exactly what the rule is in place for, protecting high hits to the QB. WTF??!!
Really a shame. The NFL wonders about their product and the decline in interest. I think it's pretty DAMN clear.
Yeah, I try to be as objective as I can... but that one was pretty darned bad.The other call that irked me was the hit on Goff. Initially I had been defending Johnson but if there were warnings he probably should not have said anything. Is there video anywhere? I thought the receiver got in Johnson's face.
I am new to this board. There seems to be a lot of hate towards Johnson. He seems like a pretty damn solid corner to me.
Finally somebody else who gets it!
Try was standing over him talking it up. He looked like the aggressor of course he’s going to get called. I understand you want our players to do whatever they want but that’s not the case in reality. That was stupid asf for him to do.Alshon started it getting in Tru's grill, by your logic he should have gotten a flag not TruJo. The ref's sucked beyond belief.

ahhhh, ti's hate on Tru dayRead the article I posted above. NRC said they were just talking football, and even Jeffrey himself said there was no trash talking going on. Are we going to justify throwing a flag against Tru for merely talking to another player?
Let your play do the talking....
Talk shit at the line of scrimmage. Nobody cares, not at the end of a play when all eyes are on you.You can't control what the other player is saying. You can't control what the Ref is going to do. As a player, you can control what you do. If you can't do that, you shouldn't be on the field. I have seen at least 3 call this year that changed the score of a game because some player couldn't control himself. It never ends well. The way it looks right now, my bet is that two players from Seattle will be sitting this week because they couldn't control themselves in Jacksonville. Now that benefits the Rams. But it did nothing for them in the Jags game. Just like Tru did nothing positive for the Rams with the call. If your going to say something, say while walking away.

Leave Jeff Fisher alone!!but for the love of F these guys in general need to get the Jeff Fisher out.
So, as I read this, I'm thinking he'd be as guilty as the players if he raised a stink and got a penalty (and fine). See what happened to Peyton when he made a stink? Cost them that game. All that aside, though, McVay also needs to quit accepting everything when he knows his team got EFFED by the refs. Fire off a bit man, and take a fine. Call it what it is FFS. Bring league attention to it. Fisher used to the do the same BS with his association with the competition committee and I hated it as much then as I do now. Quit clappin along with bad refereeing and bring attention to it then pay your fine and move on.
Yes so that means there shouldn’t be a penalty right?Read the article I posted above. NRC said they were just talking football, and even Jeffrey himself said there was no trash talking going on. Are we going to justify throwing a flag against Tru for merely talking to another player?
