His rookie performance was damn good. Period. Especially when you consider circumstances.
Putting him in top 5 after leading that team to the Super Bowl and performing the way he did makes sense to me.

Burrows took an inferior team to the Rams on the Super Bowl and, if he had a better line... well.

Herbert? Well.. from watching him and looking at the numbers, his placement in that tier seems completely appropriate. Big throws combined with accuracy and good decision making and ridiculous size and athleticism. It's crazy to watch him.

I'd put Stafford ahead of Brady this year.. but that's based on me thinking Brady is finally going to have age catch up with him.

I don’t know? In training camp there was a lot going on. I was basically on the far field of the day? In fact I don’t know what was doing on.

What I recall & saw while trying to take it all in.Was a QB role to his left
then he set & threw. Wasn’t sure what QB & saw Tutu Atwell( a player) break open for a 50 yard catch.
As a Fan those are The WOW plays at training camp. We all just saw what Clutch did against the Chargers to open the preseason.
My take right now is WOW. I saw all the photos of the play. I saw the play & saw the ball in the air. I was like wow that is a nice ball(pass). Then to think that it was Tutu Atwell making the catch is extremely cool.

I mean if I was to grade The Rams team right now I’d have to give them a A++.
—Players like Bobby Trees,Andrew Whitworth, & Michael Brockers have all left there mark on The Rams under Sean Mcvay.
I can not explain how AWESOME the culture is with The Rams under this Ownership(Demoff) & Front Office as well as McSnead & Reggie.
The way the leadership & Mentoring has(is) been AMAZING!!
I say this because of players like Eric Weedle,Clay Matthews,& Suh all have come in and given some of the LOVE.
A. Robinson for either matter is the example. One comes in The Rams take there time with him. Get him mentally & physically right. Bring in Brockers for another (1 year) 2 year contract & blended & mentored the Big Feelow a long with AD99.
Have to add Morgan Fox a UDRFA to it all. This guy was right with Brockers getting down & dirty when AD99 was holding out.

Mcvay has Done a spectacular job of this. Eric Howard has been great.What Greg Freaking Gaines is doing us crazy.
Jared Goff was good,but how good is Matthew Stafford going to be? Stafford could be extra special.He & Cohen must be really dialing up.the offense.The Rams & Stafford still are the defending champions.

TIER 1​

A Tier 1 quarterback can carry his team each week. The team wins because of him. He expertly handles pure passing situations. He has no real holes in his game.

The Super Bowl proved Stafford is tier one. Anyone who thinks otherwise is simply a hater. He didn't even know the entire playbook and played hurt most of the season, but the Rams don't win the Super Bowl without him. He had one WR and he won the Super Bowl. What more do you need?

TIER 2​

A Tier 2 quarterback can carry his team sometimes but not as consistently. He can handle pure passing situations in doses and/or possesses other dimensions that are special enough to elevate him above Tier 3. He has a hole or two in his game.

This fits Goff to a tee. You can win with Goff but he needs a team around him. We have seen him carry a team in 2019 when he had a shit OL but he can't do it consistently. Dax and yes Aaron Rodgers fall into this category.
