I feel ya, been asking my buddy who has twitter and he said there's been nothing. I'd imagine the Rams players are ecstatic but can't comment yet .

By all accounts, Goff was a nice guy. If I had to guess, I'm sure a lot of people are stoked to get Stafford but also feel bad for Goff. You can genuinely like a guy who's not up to the task of getting the job done. So many things about this process have not been mutually exclusive.

I understand there are some ppl upset and uneasy over this deal. But here’s what I can say that should make them feel better.....Matt Stafford is one of the top 5 most physically gifted QBs in the NFL. His arm talent is only rivaled by Mahomes and Rodgers. He can make every single throw ever invented by an OC. Opposite hash deep outs. Deep posts. Deep digs. 18 to 16 opposite hash comebacks. Literally *every single throw*. But I think the most encouraging signs over the last couple days is that when the media has talked to his former teammates, 99% of them just talk about his toughness. They talk about his leadership. Even though his physical ability jumps off the screen, they’ve celebrated the other stuff.
Calvin Johnson and Barry Sanders are two of the most talented players to ever where an NFL uniform. Hands down, no questions asked. And they *both* decided playing for the Lions into their 30s was just not worth it.
Maybe their new coach will bite enough kneecaps to turn it around but that organization is a mess. I don’t think people are ready for the Matt Stafford they will see in 2021.

ED just said that the Texans wanted 2 #1s, 2 #2s AND AND AND...wait for it... AD and Ramsey!!

WTF??
Don't think its physically possible to say " Get Fucked" quick enough in that situation. I agree, Texans have no interest in trading Watson outside of a deal that only exists in pipe dreams that Madden players couldn't even buy into.

I realize no one can possibly know but I wonder what realistic expectations should be for Staffords shelf life at this point?

I mean, we are assuming Stafford is our "long term" answer right? How many years before father time makes his arm just average and his legs less mobile?

Five years would be amazing. Is that probably being too optimistic? He'd be 36 that season. That seems optimistic to me. Guys are playing longer than ever now so its certainly possible.

His current shelf life with the Rams is two years, unless or until he is extended.

You should try that trade in Madden and see if it responds with Get Fucked lol

That's their way of saying they haven't decided to trade him yet. For the scenarios being floated around, Houston wasn't going to settle for just draft picks or taking castoffs.

Did you not read what I wrote?

I said it's possible that no one's commenting as they aren't allowed prior to the opening of the FA period.

If that's the case, then I understand why no welcome tweets and no "got get 'em" tweets.

What's the issue.

Also, it's gonna be a long season for ya if you wanna hang on to this because Goff's not coming back and it'll be easier to enjoy when Stafford succeeds swimmingly
BTW, Kupp saying goodbye...

??? It seems this is the first I've heard of this.

Does the majority here see it as legit, or just silly?

This is the trade of the year and we have yet to play the Super Bowl. That's wild.
I'll bet you right now that no team will improve more through trade this year than the Rams just did.

Oh wait I can't actually bet I already pissed away my ROD dolla on a bad playoff bet.

I'm pretty sure it started circulating awhile ago. Not sure if it's true or not.
