And I think ED is correct re: Stafford will win a Super Bowl in LA. In fact I think they win it in 2021 and will be the first team ever to win the big game in their home stadium. Because Tampa will lose this one I think.

This is going to get ugly in Houston. High stakes game of Chicken approaching the season. New team needs time to bring QB in new system. Holding out gonna be tough...

But would three or four first round picks be enough for Houston. I guess one from this year may entice them but the others would all be late first rounders.

I heard today that San Francisco is talking to Minnesota to get Cousins. Garapolo would go to Minnesota with the Niners first round pick.

I wouldn’t be interested in Garapolo. I’d rather get another pick

I thought the trade was due to McVay and Stafford having a bromance. This way Matt’s wife and Sean’s girlfriend can start the Real Wife of the LA Rams????

I wonder what will looks worse for Texans management. Trading Watson for a haul or butt fucking themselves when he retires and signs a mega contract in a season with another team that well covers his losses on the Texans contract.

So funny..... us as Rams fans have been pretty divided over this trade. Reading some of our NFCW opponents forums the consensus seems to be we just leaped ahead in the division. All 3 teams fans are crying like babies!

How does this impact Seahawks chances to win the division in 2021? Goff sucked, but he still carved up Seattle. Matthew Stafford is a much better QB. That's a big price to pay for a second tier quarterback...

I have been browsing the other reddits and yeah it seems pretty uniform. They don't like this at all. Some Niners fans are trying to cope, but you can still tell.

Yeah that GM will be out of the league two years from now IMO. You gotta build relationships and be able to compromise to be a GM in this league. Because sitting on a player as valuable as Watson means you're gonna lose and every loss is a milestone along that road to being fired. He's gonna have a ton of them here in the next couple years no way he survives that.

Seahawks better address that secondary or our games with them in 2021 are gonna look like a smokehouse BBQ.
 
9ers too tbh. Their secondary is good but if the Rams find a Center they're looking at Stafford back there picking targets. That's gonna be a long 60 minutes for SF.

Watch the NFC West teams prioritize secondary this offseason. IMO.

Tier one would be the best of the draft, more elite of types. We think of the draft in rounds but they don't. Most drafts the tier one group isn't that big and rarely reaches the end of round 1. It often stops between 10 and 20. Then the tier two group is usually bigger. It varies every year. One group can be very large in some years. Those years are the ones that we hear are loaded in rounds two and three. They also give tiers round grades. I remember reading that the Patriots were very particular with who they wanted and that is why they often traded back so much. I think Snead is in the same situation now that elite athletes aren't alk that he looks for, like he did with Fisher. Snead gets into more advanced metrics to narrow down what he is looking for. I'm guessing those metrics are what helps him successfully find Safeties and corners. Unfortunately, with Holmes gone to Detroit, there will be another team using the exact same scouting methods thus increasing competition for the same players. I'm sure their are other teams using them but each staff has different priorities.

This is pretty widely reported every year. Most years there are not enough athletes with first round grades to fill out the first round.

Yeah, the Whiner fans were the least concerned. I believe a lot of them are REALLY factoring in the possibility of Watson. Personally I don't think the Texans will trade him
