It's funny, but oh man he has no ability to filter his thoughts as they pour out of his mouth. Big red flag obviously.
I just hope we can get two dominating years out of him before his contract expires and before his welcome expires.
Everyone mentioning Talib I'm with it.... What can't go without saying, Talib would be an amazing mentor bc of his background too.
He asked for a trade after the Chiefs playoff loss to the Titans.
Ownership was pretty clear that they weren't going to give him long-term money.

For all we know KC could have wanted a 1st rounder and Quinn. Point being, Quinn being mentioned in any trade increases the possibility that the Rams have floated him out there. It does though sound like the Chiefs asked about him. Not that we were pushing him to them. It’s not definitive but that does lend some credibility that we aren’t looking to trade him. Of course it could be other things like they are working on a trade with somebody else or that KC doesn’t value him like we do.

I believe this keeps Joyner NRC and Watkins with the Rams for sure and makes us a bit more active in FA baring some mishap in negotiations. However yes talib would be amazing but two personalities like that would make for a stormy mix and perhaps a terrible influence in the locker room but it would look nice on paper especially money wise cause talib getting cut and us scooping him up on a cheaper price it's like two all world corners for maybe a fraction of tru johnsons salary....like realistically what would a talib contract look like??? But I still think this secondary would be elite with peters nrc jj Joyner and an addition of Breeland or dare I say another lower contract to a player who wants to win like Richard Sherman if he is cut????
I believe tru ends up with the whiners or the raiders maybe even the Chargers I don't think he will wander to far from his new home just my feeling.

We all know this kid has some anger issues and possibly a serious mental illness that might implode a time or two in 2018 so there are obvious risks for his rewards.
Nobody can guarantee how this trade will affect 2018 but the Rams are obviously not playing it safe this off-season.
I'm on board with this trade and I'm thinking like Wade, McVay and Snead....

The Chiefs knew Peters, 25, would likely demand to be the game’s highest-paid corner, which would cost upwards of $18 million per season. So on Friday they decided to go in a different direction. They chose to trade him instead of risking a lengthy absence that could stretch through organized team activities (which he skipped a year ago) and potentially training camp, which would also hurt the already tepid-trade market for Peters with every passing day.
i think that speech was the one he gave to Sammy early onI hope McVay saved the speech that he made to Donald last season, looks like he'll need to be repeating it to Peters fairly soon.

Snead your a fucking beast!

Either way, the fact he wasn’t included in the trade doesn’t mean he won’t be traded by any stretch of the imagination.
A 2018 3rd, 6th - 2019 4th and 5th. I bet.14 pages of posts yet no answer on the compensation of the trade.
It may be that the Rams have given the Chiefs multiple pick options and the Chiefs have agreed to the deal, but still want to consider which one they want.14 pages of posts yet no answer on the compensation of the trade.
