but he seemed like a genuinely good guy. I don't hate on the good ones.
But aren't they all "good guys"?
What recent Rams head coach wasn't a good guy?
I'm guessing that, by good guy, you maybe mean that they tried to succeed?
A couple thoughts:
1] To me, Fisher had a little "it's a pay check" in him. And I didn't like that at all (of course, this is just my take).
2] He was controlling to the point of hurting the team and that's selfish to me. Yeah, he had the best of intentions and did what he thought would succeed... and deserved the benefit of the doubt
for the first three years.
But when he repeatedly made the same mistakes with that offense (draft picks and especially OC choices), at that point I took him as a control freak that had turned the corner from "he's trying" to "he's selfish and hurting the team".
For that, I don't see him as a "good guy".
He wasted three years of my fandom and I resent him for that... maybe I'm a bad guy.
