Could be much worse.I think we should all be stoked AJ is out there. Hopefully he has things under control and is ready to go!
I am afraid to jinx it. But yes very happy to see him practicing in pads.I think we should all be stoked AJ is out there. Hopefully he has things under control and is ready to go!
Well he's getting first team reps, that's saying something from the coaching staff. Not saying this is the case here, but Puka showed out in TC and look where he ended up. Ya just never know and I find it refreshing to get excited about having an aggressive back with a different gear as we haven't had that in some time. Hopefully Hunter keeps shining because I'd rather we have he or even Corum show that we don't have to worry about Kyren getting paid big bucks from us. As much as I like Kyren, I'm not on board with paying a running back on a 2nd contract unless he uber special. Kyren can definitely prove us doubters wrong, but in the grand scheme of team building, we have other positions coming up for contract negotiations that I view far more important than running back. This is TC, that dude that tried to strip the ball would of at the least held him up for a gang tackle if not tackled him all together. TC is good to get in the habit as a RB without the full on tackling etc. but I take little from this other than he is getting reps
I was getting ready to post that Dedriech has the advantage of being in the system longer but looked it up and realized they were drafted the same year. That makes me even more concerned on Limmer's behalf that they're playing Dedriech at center and Limmer at RG.Eeeh, it's early in camp, I could see them cross-training but also I think this puts one more nail in the coffin of him starting this year.
He'll most likely still be our backup center... especially if Dedriech keeps snapping over the guys head.
You and I both, however it’s still TC. Nothing to get all down or hyped about from TC vids especially when no contact is permitted.Well he's getting first team reps, that's saying something from the coaching staff. I get that line of thinking honestly. I'm just like fuck it, I'm excited football is coming back and we have a legit team that can definitely compete for a title. You and I both, however it’s still TC. Nothing to get all down or hyped about from TC vids especially when no contact is permitted.
I’ll wait for preseason and the season to see what our backs do. That said I am super excited with our talent we have.

Dude it’s been to fucking long!
Fuck yeah its been way too long! I'm amped up in wanting to see our Rams lighting teams up while we do our job of lighting up fans of teams we don't like.....for example, those punk ass WhinersDude it’s been to fucking long!
Making the pilgrimage next Saturday to talk shit to a big family of Cowboy fans![]()
This but unironicallyevery broken tackle or long run was Reeders fault
I think it depends.Mentioned this in the other camp thread for yesterday. I read it the same way. Rams clearly do not see Limmer as a future Center. Because given what he would need to be doing right now, which is working hard on those calls, they would not be throwing him in there at Guard if they thought he had a future at the pivot.
So we'll see if this changes but for now this is an indicator that I had it wrong with Limmer. It's a shame I think as well, since I have wanted a Center who can hold his own for a long while now. But the mental side is the priority for this staff obviously and they must have decided Limmer's a meathead.![]()
One could make the argument at Dedich is getting reps at C because they don't see him as a long term depth option at G.I was getting ready to post that Dedriech has the advantage of being in the system longer but looked it up and realized they were drafted the same year. It is early though so we'll see.
I guess that's possible. I, like you, thought he was a great depth at G last year, so it would be very surprising for them to play him at C due to not being an adequate G.One could make the argument at Dedich is getting reps at C because they don't see him as a long term depth option at G.
I thought he played the best of the depth guys at G last year and can have a depth spot on the team.
I know McVay mentioned Limmer being able to play both C and G and the flexibility they like......so, are they trying to develop Dedich versatility or just TC reps to fill....who knows?
Feels like Dedich has a lot of tools but lacks the size you want at guard - so to me - makes sense to try him at center.I guess that's possible. I, like you, thought he was a great depth at G last year, so it would be very surprising for them to play him at C due to not being an adequate G.
Definitely the most optimistic scenario is that they're just wanting to crosstrain players. We shall see...
