Bullpen made it interesting. Not surprised. Tying run came to the plate. Fortunately they get that last out. I don't know what they're gonna do if they have a one or two run lead going into the 9th.
I'd like to see Diaz in the game at some point. Maybe not the 9th. But his last 5 appearances he didn't give up any runs. Sure they were not high leverage situations. Baby steps. If they put him out there in the 6th or 7th inning we might get a better idea if he's returning to form.Honestly, I think Scott is going to be huge for us. Not sure about Diaz yet. Even when he was throwing fire, he was getting hit hard. I’m still confident, just need our bats to keep showing up. If we can put up more than 3 runs in any game, I like our chances.
They mentioned that quite a bit. How their experience shows up in these games with the little things most people don't notice. The little things that win a series.Heart of a Champion!!!!
Yup win one in ATL and get the series back to LA. I wont get greedy, although if they take the next 2 thats fine with meBraves accomplished what they set out to do. Steal one on the road. They gambled and held Sale out for Tuesday. But its still a gamble. If the Dodgers take one back in Atlanta the Braves top two pitchers won't be available. And Dodgers will have their best going game 5.

They really only have 2 starters, Sale and Mahle. They will go in 3 and 4. If it goes 5 they will throw a bullpen game...again.....I don't know much about the Braves (other than they're usually good for an LCS win and not much more) but what was their alternative? If Sale goes in game 2, who's on the mound for them in game 3 and 4? When I check their stats I see they have 6 guys, other than Sale who started games in 2026.....Holmes, Elder, Perez, Ritchie, Lopez and Mahle.....and those first 3 have over 140 IP. What's the story with them, Dodger envy?
JDP is an option too. Im not sure they will do it though....Ohtani is struggling big time. His homerun swing is non existent. Just a protective type swing that he can't reach when its a foot or two outside. In my opinion Teoscar should be the DH and Kike should be in left. That double last game Teoscar couldn't run down I'm pretty sure Kike coulda got there. Ohtani could be available to pinch hit. But I know Roberts won't make that kind of change.
