Miller tried to blow it though

We really need Kershaw Snell and Ohtani to come back
They sent Miller down to work on his game. Brought him back up due to injuries. Looks like he still needs to work on his game. How long will they be patient with him? He's got good stuff. Upper 90's fastball. Curve and changeup. He just hasn't figured out how to use it. Will the light bulb ever come on for him? I wonder if they ever thought about bringing him out of the bullpen? Maybe one inning at a time might help.

Its a long season. A marathon. I always felt you never know how good or bad a team is until around mid June. Sometimes even longer. Dodgers started hot. Cooled off. Lost a couple series. Blew a couple 9th inning leads. But still with a winning record in April.

I just wish the guys on these programs would stop talking about most wins ever. I don't think that is goal. Winning another championship is the goal. If most wins ever happens then great. But its only a success if they win the championship.

I keep saying I want them to win 99 games and finish the regular season strong. I know it's just superstition but screw that 100+ win or most win thing. Just come into the playoffs healthy and playing good ball.

Yup. They won 98 last year. Thats a record that will win a division most times. And even get the top seed most times. Its all about being healthy at the right time. So far the pitching has had trouble with that. Roberts had to play a bullpen game a few days ago. And had to start two guys who weren't expected to be in the starting rotation. Yet, they're 18-10.

If guys come back and are healthy for the playoff run they'll have the deepest rotation in baseball. Yamamoto/Sasaki/Snell/Glasnow/Ohtani/Gonsolin/Kershaw. Casparius looked pretty good today. Could be a future starter. Glasnow is the one who concerns me the most. He had to exit all 4 games he started with various injuries. Injuries have been a problem for him most his career.
