Well, your first sentence is 100% correct. Maybe a extra dumb for good measure could be added. The curse part hurts, would never wish a curse on any team, although when they finally won it was pretty special.

The again if it does take 86 years for another title I wonder how long it will take the Dodgers to win as many World Series this century as the Red Sox have won :sunglasses: this century

2004 & 2007 don't count because they were against the Cardinals

You’re actually quite wrong about 2007; the Red Sox played the Rockies then. You’re thinking 2013.

Still think we had a shot at ‘13 if Craig was healthy, but the Red Sox had far better pitching in ‘04.

Good answer! Im from Boston so I love all the Boston teams. Became a Rams fan back in the 70's. Patriots were so bad then that they were never on TV. Got to see a lot of Rams games on TV and while watching became a fan of Jack Youngblood, McCutcheon, Haden, etc. Once I committed to root for them I couldnt change and grateful I never did. Love the Rams probably more than any other sports team. Sox a close 2nd though :)

2013 always felt a little fluckie. That was not a great team talent wise. Heck Johnny Gomes was starting in LF. That team just seemed on a mission after the marathon bombing. Crazy and fun bunch of players though. Everything went right that year for the Red Sox

All the pressure is on the Dodgers.

This Dodger team thrives on pressure. Go Blue!!!!

It really is. You could argue that there’s zero reason the Dodgers don’t repeat and the expectations are for a three peat. Talk about putting the wagon before the horse but it’s out there. If we don’t win it all this year, it would be tough to find excuses.

Go Blue!!!

Also, @Tano invited me with his -factually-inaccurate - post, so I’m here to stay and laugh when you inevitably fail to repeat your title after crumbling under the pressure.

ML Baseball is the long 162-game season. A lot of things can happen between now and October. The depth and versatility really help but, a couple of key player injuries and the odds shift. I'm not going to take anything for granted and I don't think the Dodgers will either.

I have been looking at Ohtani's home run and I don't think it was a home run.

I think that had a lot of home country bias.
