totally agree. i was thinking even white/bone numbers would look better (since the bone jersey has the blue as opposed to yellow, the blue jersey should have the bone or white as opposed to yellow). But that's just because OCD.

I don't see an issue with the gradient, but I dislike the 3D highlights they added around the numbers. That's where the "Soft" and "Cartoonie" look comes from.

Another thought I just had is that the gradients were probably a package deal with the gradient of the horns (like the logo) on the helmet. Then they decided to go full SOL on the horn, now it looks odd for the gradient on the jersey.

In any event, simple fix is to make it solid like this...

It is the official Sol yellow, I used the Pantone in Photoshop.

Agreed. I went to order a new Jersey and decided to go with the throwback canary yellow and royal blue because the gradient makes the Jersey look washed out. At first I liked the gradient but now I'll have to see them on game day for my final take on them.

I think those are Possibly bad color images. The Brand Style guide doesn't use those colors, so I turned the yellow to the team colors.
I hope the uniforms use the real Brand color and not the lighter yellow in the images.
The color on the helmet is closer to the Sol. So I think those photos are poor colored mockups.

I hope for the darker colors also.....but they did look much brighter in the release videos...don't understand why they dont match the trademarked colors...

fuck me, every time i see that bone coloured jersey i fucking love it, especially that name tag. i'm fucking buying it if it ever comes out to australia. can't buy it from the usa, it will probably cost me $250 once you account for currency rate and delivery.
