I love Kyrens attitude. I honestly hope they can work something out on a 3 year deal and he stays steady.
Yeah. I gotta agree. The EXACT attitude you want to see from a player - contract negotiations or not. I also suspect that carrying that attitude maybe brings the two sides together. Fingers crossed.

I see no reason to rush into signing him. Let’s see what we got.

I think WE (Rams) know what they have in Kyren Williams. There is no doubt there.

It’s going(is) to be about dollars & sense. He is deserving of a nice raise. The thing is The Rams have 2 young RB’s in the stable.YOU Can’t have to many STUDS.

What these other RB’s do only makes it easier to not have to OVER PAY like Todd Gurley.I can go back(way) to other post here. The thing that I REALLY like is The Rams have been adding SO much depth at positions that they come to the table with strength.

My point is Cam,Van, & EJ53 really went about things the wrong way.If Kyren was to pull any CRAP it wouldn’t hurt as much.

Kyren does have to know The Rams depth & that signing early only enhances his career as a RB.The reason is he doesn’t have to be that cowbell RB.He is not going to get as many carries in 2025 IMO.That is the whole point either way.

SO if he signs it doesn’t matter, but on the other hand at the end of 2025.What does that look like for him & The Rams as a FA.

BTW- The Rams don’t like to do it,but either way The Rams still have control & can Franchise him.

It’s the way the system should work & as a FA(only 1 season) next season he has to play for a contract.

Just going back to Todd Gurley who I LOVED! The Rams should have NEVER had signed him to that contract. HOLDOUT. He still was signed to 5th year.

Bell held out & didn’t even play the season. Then The Jets paid him less that what he would’ve got from Pittsburgh??? Both players really brought down The RB VALUE because of it IMO.

Williams is young (he'll be 25 next month) and productive. The only reasons why people are looking to get rid are his lack of elite breakaway speed and his propensity to fumble.

He can't change the former, but if he learns better ball control, he's well worth keeping... depending upon his (or, more likely, his agent's) wage demands.

I don’t think the stats bear out Kyren being a fumbler, among all NFL RBs. Maybe they just happen at inopportune times.
