Guy was a beast in the few games I saw him in, but the injury history is a huge red flag.

I doubt the Rams would be interested in rolling the dice on *another* hugely talented but injury prone RB.

prior to last year

2018 missed 6 games to injury
2017 missed 2 games to injury
2016 last year at LSU. Missed 6 games to injury.

not exactly an Ironman. Not to mention incidents of weight gain and conditioning during his career.
High ankle sprain and a right hamstring are far from serious injuries like MCL or ACL
Etc.

Well 2016 he only missed 4 games due to injury and skipped the bowl game because he was going pro
2014- missed 0 games
2015- missed 0 games
2016- missed 4 games
2017 missed 2 games, but also played in 3 playoff games
2018- missed 6 games
2019- missed 0 games
Realistically, only missed time in 2 out of 6 seasons
If the price is right, be crazy not to bring him in

Three times in four years it was the right ankle. That is having a body part that is injury prone.. Go back to scouting reports in college. Concerns were injury ankles and weight gain. Could they be in the past? Of course but they have to be a concern.

Love Fournette but it feels like we are over maxed on our credit cards so I don’t see how we can afford him?

Any idea how much Goff restructured would free up? Even a guesstiment?

Unless you are talking a 6th round for a one year rental then you need to come up with cap space. We are listed at 6 mil over the cap without floyds 10 mil contract in. At that and at list 5 mil to sign the draft class And we are 21 mil over the cap. Now add in fournette and its at 25 mil. Now maybe you can restructure Goff and Donald to the tune of 25 mil but that will seriously crunch their space in 2021 with Krupp, J.J. and ramsey due big contracts.

Rams are on a youth movement. I could see vet minimum or 2 on defense if they don’t get any prime time ready picks in the draft but I don’t see any real $$$ spent on any more vets for this year.

Are you serious he was a top 5 pick in the draft. There is NO back this year in his league. Like I will keep saying almost 1700 yards from scrimmage last year and that was 15 games.

Why because like I said he is a PROVEN commodity. We don't know if who we draft will be anywhere Vin the same stratosphere as LF. He a top 5 RB in total yards. Top 4 in rushing as a RB and top 4 in total yards.

I don't care how many yards from scrimmage Fournette had; he's been nicked up his whole career, he's a malcontent, and - to put the cherry on top of the metaphorical shit sundae - he's an expensive rental. However much you may want to get him, you're going to lose a lot more good players if you do that, like, say, Ramsey and Kupp if you re-sign him, or you wasted a valuable Day 2 pick for one year of Fournette's production, if you don't.

Compare that to an excellent running back class overall (with names like Taylor, Edwards-Helaire, Dobbins, Moss, Benjamin, and many others even when not including Swift) who will be signed for four years, and you can see why I don't value Fournette as much as you do.

$8.6M for a questionable RB? His production isn't nearly what it should be for that kind of money. He's a name that's all. This team has enough cap issues without taking on another. As it is it can be managed. Why remake the team with a marginal overpaid RB?

I am not a fan. For the reasons mentioned - his attitude, dollars and cents, and injury liability. I think the Rams are better off using a draft pick on a young back like J Taylor from Wisconsin. Or JK Dobbins. The team already spent two first round picks on Jalen Ramsey, why should they trade a second, third or fourth for Fournette? Or even a 2021 pick? Doesn't make a whole lot of sense. Or they could sign LeSean McCoy as a free agent. I don't think he would command Fournette money.

I understand, but a better system with our HC and diversity of leaders we have on both sides of the ball will be great for him. Most of all look at this guy he a between the tackle runner a monster catching the ball he had 76 catches last year, strong on goal line and remember Jville sucked hence why they are drafting 9th.

Seriously with Leonard Fournette the Rams offense will soar once again we just need to address the OL.

So with him the Rams' will soar again...of course the

I don't hear of many teams beating their door down to make this trade...Why is that ??? Maybe with a large bag of chips it would have to include a bunch 'o pints of Guinness ??? I don't think he's the last piece..

Did they decline his option year? Pretty sure they have a couple weeks left to do that.
I think they retracted it from what I read. TBH I just kinda browsed into it.

I lime him but he’s going to command so decent coin in 1.5 years like Gurley.

Fournette’s ability I love, he reminds me of SJ39.

The Jaguars have until May 4 to exercise the 5th year option. I would assume that carries over to a team that trades for him.

Dude has become a good option of the backfield over the middle and in the flat. And he runs for tough yards.

But yea it just doesn't seem like a good fit at the time with the cap situation.
