2 misses this game. :shock: The wind is his weakness, in time he will learn to adjust his kicks. Nobody is perfect.
 
3 misses. I didn't see the last kick but it says he was wide left from 66 yards... Meaning he had the distance? Which is nuts.

Shame, he's gotta be feeling like shit.

He actually did have the distance, just went wide.
 
Fucking crazy, really sucks. I bet if he didn't have those two misses he would have nailed it. Game of mistakes. I don't think I saw Ojinnaka do one thing right. Miller taking the kickoff instead of letting it go, etc. Just not smart football today.
 
Would have been a great call IF he makes it. But why put the game in your rookie kicker's hands when you've got a "franchise" QB to handle those duties?
 
Well the Cowboys just tried the same thing, and that FG was 20 yards shorter and still missed it. That one was a game winner.

Shit happens I guess.
 
I would of given the guy the chance in that situation too. You had 4th and about 10 after the sack and you know the kid has the leg. Fisher probably didn't want to not give him a try after missing the other two. Confidence is a funny thing with kickers. Let's hope he doesn't get the shanks from today. I think the wind did him in today. A veteran kicker would of adjusted after missing the first one but this kid is just booming them straight right now. And not many kickers would of even got the opportunity to miss that one because of the distance. GZ will break the NFL record, probably this year. And he is going to have to make long kicks until the offense can figure out how to punch into the endzone.

Since GZ missed that kick, Dallas missed a 50 yarder and SF just missed a 43 yarder. The kid will be just fine I think.
