Why? Id say its the Cubby bears that will need LUCK.
Were playing in their house and I highly doubt there will be a Rams take-over in that stadium.... We have trouble taking over our own stadium.

Were gonna need Caleb to have a bad game, and we'll have to take advantage of it.

JUST GET TO CHICAGO SOON SO YOU GET A DOSE OF THE WEATHER CONDITIONS.
Soldier Field is right on the lake and the wind can definitely be a factor!!!
KNOW WHAT YOU'RE IN FOR!!!

That '85 game was one of the most frustrating fucking playoff games ever. Payback would be nice.

Not happy about going to Chicago but hey here's hoping the boys can pull it off.
Yeah, 152 yards of offense and 9 first downs was pitiful. ED's longest run was 9 yards. Defense only allowed 17. But 89 was waaaay more frustrating to me. We had a better offense and a better QB.

So as we get ready go to play a very cold weather game in Chicago. Our MVP QB is dealing with a tweaked finger. I am wondering if this turns into a cold grip issue and passes start sailing away from Matthew for INTs and incompletions. This is my concern. Hopefully the finger feels good sooner than later. I see a few potential red flags for this game. I hope I’m wrong.
Wow, that went from zero to 60 in 3 and a half seconds!!!

In other news, I have to LOL when I hear how the cold is going to affect the Rams because they're from So. Cal. Like all those Bears came from the midwest!!!

If Stafford can rip it, we should be fine. but I have noticed when he's injured, (bent back finger) this time he's off enough to be an average qb who can't run. At least he played in the north in cold stadiums for many years. Go, Rams!

I think cold weather vs California teams was a bigger issue in the 70's. Cold weather gear that the players wear wasn't nearly as good back then.

Players back then didn't have FA, so player movement was much less. So the best players on the Rams back then played their entire career for the Rams. So those guys didn't play many cold weather games in their entire career. Also, the rosters back then were probably skewed a little more towards Pac-8 kids from the west coast.

I guess that overall I'd be happy with Caleb performing like he did during the GB game.
A 50% completion passer rating and 2 picks / 2 TD's game might work.

Lol if they're not motivated enough just to stay alive then they have more problems than we thought! I get what you're saying though.
I don't get this obsession with the Whiners moving on just for a fucking home game. I want those bastards killed off ASAP because fuck them. The Rams simply need to win and keep winning no matter the opponent.

Everything in my logical brain tells me we should curb stomp the Bears but the NFL is a cruel bitch at times. Bears have a really mediocre pass rush, defense in general is ok but gets pushed around, they lost their LT, their RBs are ok but not great... we SHOULD be able to control this game. They can be dangerous passing and they have some ballhawks in the secondary. I agree with what others have said that this should be a 13 personnel heavy game and take it to them running and using TEs to control the game.
Honestly think we can pound them with the running game and hit em with play action here and there. Fuck the Bears, Rams definitely can beat them.

Our fans sell all their preseason tickets to 9er fans for the $$$$ for our home games..... I'm not surprised some Rams fans would cheer for the 9ers to move on so we can get a home game (that's not really a home game), when Sofi is full of red jerseys. Lack of civic pride these days is kinda mind-boggling, especially with your direct rivals.

I say the Rams sign Travis Kelcee and make sure Taylor Swift comes to every game.... I guarantee you will never see a Sofi takeover ever again.... Those crazy Swifties are fiercely loyal...... And there are tons of them in LA..... lol.. Just give Taylor her own jersey number (13) and it will be the loudest stadium on planet earth.... lol

We are going to need 4th quarter Stafford all game. We cannot go into the fourth needing a comeback. That will give us all heart attacks...
I don't care if we take an early lead and hold it or if we score with 30 seconds left to take the lead and win. I don't honestly believe protecting a lead is going to be any less heart stopping than coming from behind!!!
