He has a wicked cut move the break ankles kind. The Rams would be foolish to let him go. One more piece to the O-line and this kid will break 100 plus yards a game every game.

You really think he'll sign with the Rams for 10-12 million? Uh-uh. His agent will ask for top dollar and the higher his stats go so will the price. If their name isn't Cooper Kupp these guys looking to get PAID. I would be surprised if Rams pay Kyren top RB dollar, but not disappointed. They are grooming Corum, who could end up being better than Akers, who the Rams had settled for a few years back. You can like someone a lot but choose to save money for other players, as we've seen from this FO before. Kyren is a stud, and if the Rams really think so maybe they'll pay him like one. Depends on the asking price.

What would the Rams gain by trading him early?

A 4th-5th round pick - but that isnt really the point. Kyren would be crazy not to ask for a contract right after this year with the number of carries and injuries he's had already, playing a position that has a short shelf life to begin with

He can ask. But what if the Rams say, "we're not trading you. You can play out your contract."

Wouldn't that be a better plan for them than trading him? Unless you think Kyren would demand a trade?

Kyren is a BAMF. Why are some of us complaining? We're gonna win the Superbowl
I haven't seen any complaints. I also haven't seen anyone saying he isn't great.

Why do some people fantasize about replacing our good players with potentially better ones instead of fantasizing about replacing our bad players with better, potentially great ones?
Its called cost control and using that salary cap capital elsewhere. Kyren will surely cost much more than his current contract. How much more will determine whether he's extended. Personally wish we could somehow get Ashton Jeanty and trade Kyren to do so. I say this and I love Kyren so I wouldn't be mad if the Rams found a way to extend him.
