No one is Aaron Donald. But Kobie does seem to have similar measurables.

Rams need a “lead by example” DB to pick up that unit like AD does for the DL. Great to see Turner as the grasshopper to AD’s the master.

It's going to be great watching Turner turn into a dominating player.

Kobie just comes off as a player who wants to get better and will put in the work. Great draft pick by the Rams.

Turner doesn't have to be the second coming of Donald. He simply has to be the best version of himself. He's shown enough to build upon himself. He's going to be a solid IDL man with a very good career ahead of him.

There is a lot that goes into being an elite DT. Speed (particularly quickness), power, playing with leverage, and hand play. What he's leaning from Carson is how to improve his hand play. It's a big part of Donald's game, by not allowing the OL to get a grip on him.

It tells a lot about how he takes his craft seriously. Taking the extra steps to be not just good but eventually great. You have to love it.

The Aaron Donald Effect!
Such an asset in so many ways that most don’t even realize.

Maybe it would be overkill, but would love to see the Rams go get Christian Wilkins. We would finally have a DL that would match or better the Niners. Would go a long way to improve the defense against the run and pass.

Probably too much $$ invested in one unit, but then again Donald possibly done after this upcoming yr, so why not?

I wouldn't mind see Gregg Gaines brought back.
Our top three of Donald, Turner and Brown can be excellent.
Bring back/in key rotational pieces to fill out depth like Gaines, Williams and Carter is big for whole unit as well.

That’s what Donald did for the players around him.
Several guys made some good scratch in their next signing, but few (if any) lived up to the guy they were who left the Rams.

The Conductor is the heir apparent. He eats up blockers while others make plays. BTW, he STILL makes plays of his own.

Kobie “The Conductor” Turner. The pick who started this defensive rebuild.
…and they are gonna strike fear into the league in ‘25.

Fuck Will Anderson Jr. and Jalen Carter: The Conductor should've won the Defensive Rookie of the Year. He had more sacks than either of them, and was an even better run defender than either of them. It's bullshit that he didn't win.

Dude they have that, plus an excellent CB & DB coach.

You don’t think Shula has his players ready ? Q. Lake has been that leader. Kinchens was lead by KAM Curl.

Ahkello Whiterspoon has been helping Forbes since last season & on 3 YEARS has only been his FIRST OTA’s with The RAMS !!!

Go back last season & see why game 18 didn’t matter ? It was the communication, plus the switch on McBride.Plus many other examples.
Then McCoulgh helped keep the season in place early out of nowhere.

Cobie Duarant is playing at a very high level,.Is So underrated at what he does.I remember his first training camp being everywhere taking balls away. He’s play to start the season when he got hurt was phenomenal.

Darious Williams is The PERFECT leader!! He played across Ramsey ,started over for the CB who went to Cleveland and came back ? Played with Talb & Peterson under Aubrey.

BTW - here’s a stat I pulled out of my AZZ that shows just what a VETERAN LEADER & DISRESPECTED RAM DW is !!

2 questions for ALL YOU(same answer - DW)

1. Besides Higbee & Havenstien who is the other Ram who has went to 2 Superbowls in LA under Sean Mcvay ?

2. Who is the only LA RAM on the ROSTER to go to 2 Superbowls under Sean Mcvay that didn’t play in St.Louis ??? Plus (maybe) who’s starting ? We’ll see ? There’s some CB’s on this Rams squad.

COME ON DANG - get down with yourself Bro - keep talking that Smack !! I’d say that LEADERSHIP!

I did not like the Kobie Turner pick. I did not think the Rams needed another "undersized" DT. Boy, was I wrong. Not only is this guy a great DT, he is also an outstanding person. So glad he is a Ram.
