Like most of us, still processing the loss to Hags, and hating that we didn't capitalize on a MVP season from Stafford. You never know how many opportunities you'll have to get to a SB.

It also always still stings to see Kupp in another uniform, especially after his SB performance against the Bengals. We don't win that ring without him.

What really sucks is if what the Athletic is reporting is true:

"Kupp left the Rams in intriguing circumstances before he joined the Seahawks last offseason, with a new report showing just how brutal the breakup between the two was — leading to a bizarre incident between coaches this season. The Athletic reported that the Rams had warned teams against giving Kupp anything more than a minimum contract due to his age and injuries.

"According to The Athletic, Rams assistant coach Drew Wilkins, among others, was in an elevator with Seahawks linebacker coach Chris Partridge during halftime as they came down from their box to the locker room — a regular occurrence in NFL games where coaches attempt to get down as quickly as they can.

"One Rams coach asked another which Seahawks receiver had fumbled the ball after a catch, with another noting it was Kupp before laughing.

"Partridge took issue with the reaction and reportedly had to be held back after confronting the Rams coach."

Article could just be Hags biased or exaggeration, but if it's true, it doesn't show the Rams in the best light. The NFl is a business, and a lot of players seem to love playing for the Rams, but I hope this isn't the way it really ended with Kupp.

All hearsay and a lot of nothing. Rams organization has always been classy. They tore up Kupp’s contract and gave him a huge raise after the 2021 season. He could not stay on the field so they moved on. Time to put all this trash in the rear view mirror. Pure speculation for clicks.

Hopefully, it was mostly - if not all - rumors. There have been a few "interesting" player interactions with the Rams in recent years - Gurley, Akers, and Jones come to mind - but mostly Rams seem to be a place where players want to be.

Just sucks seeing any former Rams great in another division rival's uniform. I still get queasy thinking about Ike with the Whiners...

Does anyone really believe the Rams "warned other teams about Kupp"? They all have tape.. they don't need Rams coaches' opinions nor would the Rams brass ever do this to a beloved icon/player. It's just not their MO.

More Michael Silver LIES. He and Goff are both still butt hurt about GOOF being shipped out after the RAMS paid him and then he quit working to get better.

If some random coach jokes about something who cares. Rams did right by Kupp and paid him huge money for his contribution. After he got paid he couldn't stay on the field, dropped passes, couldn't separate etc. Rams stuck by him for 3 seasons then they said enough and moved on. If Kupp was the number 2 behind Nacua no way we make it to the Championship game. Rams treated Kupp great.

Thanks for the feedback, Ramily. I feel better now.

Just having a NFCCG loss hangover, I guess.

Disappointed in Silver. This reeks of click-bait sensationalism. So one (unnamed) Rams assistant coach supposedly "snickered" at a comment? Evidence sounds third-hand and flimsy at best.

There's a reason that so many players league-wide think the Rams are a great organization to play for.

Is it possible that one assistant coach made an asinine gesture in a heated moment at halftime of a big game? Maybe. But even if true, that's hardly enough to condemn an entire organization.

Take a look at the post-game moments with Kupp and Stafford, and Kupp and Puka. Tons of love there.

I can believe that if other teams called, the Rams might answer honestly about Kupp's health. I don't believe the Rams were affirmatively calling his suitors and telling them not to sign him.

Well I have had lingering suspicions about how the Rams treat former players ever since the Goff dismissal. I agreed with it for sure, but how it was handled was a little messy. Then Earnest Jones. That was a head scratcher. Then Cooper Kupp. Honestly, I wonder if we were in the right in those situations. There seems to be an emerging pattern there. Pro football is a business at the end of the day, but the Karma seemed to favor the Seahawks. Those former disgruntled Rams are part of the team that eliminated our team from playing in the SB. I’m just saying…

No Karma favors the Seahawks . (ankle stomper resides there)
Kupp absolutely loved being a Ram. Heartbroken, you could see it.
But he was not playing up to his contract and I doubt he has for the Seahawks either.
I would have kept him around with a giant pay cut.
It is what it is.
The Rams reputation is kinda golden around the NFL.
Maybe the Rams thought anyone STUPID enough to actually post about piping the coaches wife might not be smart enough to be McVays QB in the end. If he was smart he would have posted, "very pretty girl" actually complementing his coach.
How can anyone be a graduate of Cal and not know where the sun comes up ?
Are you actually a Rams Fan ?

First off don't care
Second the Rams have denied this

Oldschool to the rescue. All you have to do is look at the contract Kupp signed.

Curious though about Kupp would’ve been more valuable than Tutu Atwell at the End of the Season?

Not really questioning it,but what was weird is in the SF Bart(train) there was a photo with his picture on it as advertising.Couldn’t figure if it was for a whole lot of companies.

Looking up though & thinking I know that guy (photo) from somewhere.OH CRAP that’s TUTU !!
Never good figure it out & wanted to snap shot the photo & post.

All in ALL 2026 here we come !!

Wow. Thank for the reply. I’ve been a Rams fan since 1977. I’d say I’m pretty much established as a fan. I’m moving on from this topic. I have nothing but rumor to back it up.

I’d never question your fanhood, though. I found that insulting.

Who fucking cares. He said she said. Hurt feelings.

This 100%. TBH, Jalen Ramsey (at the time we traded him) was way more of a positional value than Kupp was at the end of last season, and we let him go for peanuts too.

I don’t know if “league minimum” sounds accurate, but let’s be real here. Cooper Kupp looked absolutely washed after he returned from injury last season, outside of a few moments. That’s what led to our offense being so stagnant, defenses weren’t even taking our skill players seriously outside of Puka Nacua.

Kupp has a big cap hit this coming season. It will be interesting if they keep him or if he retires.
