The rumour (and it is only that) is that the rams would give up a third and get hunt and a fifth back.

They will have Williams either this week or next. I think their focus right now is on an edge. If they make a trade IMO it will be for and edge or OG. They need another OG regardless of Bruss and Shelton and they could use one immediately. Their focus will be on immediate needs and with Williams entering the roster that solves their RB issue.

I think the Rams will get an edge after this Sunday. If the Broncos lose then I think they have a good shot at Chubb. If the Jags lose then I think Josh Allen might be attainable. Allen is definitely better than Lewis, being more like Floyd, capable of giving the Rams 7-9 sacks a year. Allen would be a lot cheaper.

We don't have a 4th rounder yet technically and I certainly wouldn't give a 3rd
Rams will have one 4th round selection in the 2024 Draft.

I prefer that we do not trade our 3rd in next year's draft too. The thing is there is a slight possibility that the Rams will have some compensatory awarded selections in this upcoming draft.

No telling what UFA signings the Rams will do in March 2023 but if the Cap limits their big signings then it's possible Snead will be awarded two 5ths for Corbett & Williams & 6th for SJD. If DC Morris is what you believe he is......then two 3rds would be awarded in 2023 & 2024 when he is hired as a new HC. Snead may have no issue trading his own 3rd rd selection if he believes that he will have a good amount of Compensatory selections being added. Rams need an ER much worse than a RB however Hunt is much easier than trading for an ER.

Hunt/ Henderson/ Williams/ Rivers/ Brown
should be more than enough RB's to ensure the RB room is in outstanding shape for the 2nd half of this season.

This would beef up a weak offense unit letting the team work get the OL stronger with returning injured IOL'ers Allen/ Shelton/ Edwards plus allowing newcomers like IOL'er Matt Skura/ Oday Aboushi to become more settled in their new surroundings.

We won a superbowl with these same RB’s, Williams should provide the Sony factor when he gets back.

I would love some juice like Hunt but priority need to be edge. The Von Miller hole is massive.
No offense but comparing what Williams and Sony michell offer isn’t even comparable. We still need a rock solid blitz package RB on 3rd down.

Too much is relative but my guess it would take a 4th round pick or comparable.
I'm not so sure that it'll cost that much. I'm guessing most teams are throwing a lot of low ass offers cuz if they were offered a 4th, it would be a done deal by now. I know we don't have a 4th by the way but I see the Browns jumping at that sort of compensation since he's 100% gone at the end of the year if he's not traded.

Offer them Cam Akers, 2023 6th and a 2024 6th (which is a comp pick if we get one). We get 6th round comp picks every year

They changed the rule to you can't trade them away until they're rewarded. And you can't make a trade anymore saying if we don't get a 4th you'll get this that or the other. Have to actually have the pick now to trade it.

I'm aware of 2024 but still wouldn't do

Hunt is a good back but I would not spend more than a 4th to acquire him, as round 3 in the draft we can get a much younger and cheaper RB that is more or less as good IMO. Round 2 we might well find something better.

Like Akers?
