Josh Simmons or ??? at 26

I’ve seen two different mocks that have him going to us at 26. Had a knee injury this year and missed a good chunk.

I don’t see how they pass on WR in round 1 but no clue who they’d want. PFF is saying Ayomanor from Stanford.

All predicated on if the Rams sign Alaric Jackson. If they do, then WR or CB otherwise I do believe Simmons would be an excellent selection.

Certainly a possibility. The tackles that could be there will prob need some seasoning and you're drafting for the future.

As Den mentions, a CB would be a possibility. Not sure the WR's available there are worth it. But the two TE's... oh those TE's though when it's all said and done, think Tyler Warren prob goes in the teens.

Edit: There's a lot to like about this TE class! But think Warren and Copeland are going teens but that leaves the LSU kid and the Miami guy who I both think could possibly sneak into the 1st round.

When people start looking at the pass catching class, I suspect they'll start to see how much more dynamic the TE class is looking in the late round 1- round 3 range compared to the WR class.

Everyone mentioned is position of need. Rams could surprise everyone and go best available. If Mike Green is on the board I could see him becoming a Ram. Particularly if Michael Hoecht leaves in free agency.

Simmons, Green, Jahdae Barron the DB from Texas, Loveland (because I think Warren is gone) and Kenneth Grant are the guys I’ve been looking at in round 1.

i will be glad when this super bowl is over so we can move on to the important stuff like the draft and free agency. after all the only way i could be interested in this game is if there was a chance both teams could lose.

Listening to Snead talk this year multiple times so far it seems he is more than willing to trade down to get at 26.

That being said we need a dance partner and that’s someone willing to give up fair market value to give us close to our 2nd rounder back ( like a high third) which is very possible.

Although to a deep draft in our positions of need.

But playing this game and standing pat I absolutely love Kenneth Grant, Ayomanor, Amos, or Loveland right there.

If the medicals check out definitely on Simmons. Problem is if the medicals check out I seriously doubt he is available at 26. Would not count on him being there.

I'm not saying he isn't just making fun of how it's being presented. There are so many convos on here that diverge from the man topic. I'm personally ok with it but I get some others want it more organized. I just enjoy teasing folks lol

Simmons is potentially the best OT in this draft. If he checks out great in medicals, I can't see a world in which he gets to 26. I could see whiners taking him to replace Williams.
