Good for him. Hope he makes the team somewhere. Just didn't fit our power run scheme.
Good luck DRich!

the great running attack of the jets
CJ who runs around in circles in the backfield to get tackled for a loss
and DRich who runs straight into the OL for little to no gain
RIP Geno Smith

I wouldn't be surprised if he latches on somewhere else. He was pretty good his rookie year. He came in and hit holes very hard without the tentativeness that Pead showed. I think (if he's healthy) he could definitely have more of an NFL future. Good luck DRich!

Glad a team picked him up. I hope that he makes the final roster.

D Rich got Schottyed all too hell. Good luck my man. Soon people will be saying "how come he didn't do that for the Rams".

Glad he got picked up, I hope he explodes and has a great career for them. Least until they play the Rams, then I hope he goes for -10 yards and gives up 3 fumbles.

The news of D.Rich being let go led me to drink last night in sorrow. Now he's a Jet. I don't know how much more of this I can handle.

Yeah last year was a fluke do to the unending turf toe injury he tried to play through. Drich was a solid back and in the right situation can still flourish, just got lost in the numbers game here.

He's just got terrible vision. Runs right into the back of his linemen. His other "problem" is that for a speed back he's not elusive. He cant make people miss. Apart from that he tries hard and he's got breakaway potential. I agree he was slowed down by his turf toe injury but the guy was never gonna be able to get it going as the main ball carrier.

I see it the same, he was really struggling last season, wasn't the same guy. He is a solid depth RB who can do a little of everything. But he paid for not playing special teams, guy like him has to offer something on teams if he wants to stick on rosters long term.

And yes it is great to see a Rams cut being immediately claimed off waivers. So nice to have folks that know talent calling the shots now.

D Rich... Best Dreads in the NFL.

I'm not surprised that he was claimed immediately.

Jah Bless and Good Luck !
