I could not love him any more. How on earth did nobody draft him sooner? He's a fucking dog. His answer about thinking about the Eagles game gives me chills. This dude is going to lead us to special places.

I think the fact that he was a 23/24 (in Nov) player last year was a huge benefit to him and the Rams. He has NFL skills to develop but he was a focused driven mature grown-ass man out of the gates.

The Rams clearly draft for character. I really think it matters.

Now that he knows the nuances of playing that position in the NFL I have a feeling we're gonna see double digit sacks from him every year. If they can shore up the run defense I can see the line being the best in the NFL. Turner and Fiske creating havoc up the middle. Verse and Young on the edges. Stewart in the rotation to keep them fresh.

What they've done in the offseason seems to me they focused on stopping the run. Signing Ford and Landman. Drafting Paul. They don't wanna see someone like Barkley go off on them again.

Agree on the run defense and add in Hamilton to the equation.

Love Jared Verse and so blessed that I got to see and converse with him here in Albany. Hard to believe he is now in Horns for me, but he is a young buck with an old school approach, with my humblest apologies to our own @OldSchool and now his avatar.

Really cool interview. There was no pretense or canned answers. Sure loves his “this, that, and the third” though.:laugh1:

And as much as that Eagles game eats at us fans, these players are living with it every damned day. I sure hope they never forget that feeling.

Pretty bitchen how he talks of other players like Stafford and the peek inside the culture that McVay insists on.

Just a great watch.

It’s crazy that Barkley had like a 1/4 of the yards he ran for last year against the rams. That is something that would eat at you, if they play one of those plays better is the outcome different??

Did anyone else notice that when talking about the additions he said we have a "new FAST back"? Those guys know the lack of speed at RB was an issue.

You just know every one of those 18 teams that passed on V8 are going to regret it. On some coming Sunday they will regret letting V8 slip through their hands as he destroys their day.
