Wartched it last night. Love me some Verse, but like Puka, he talks a lot and can have me cringing at times.

Love the comments about hating the Seahawks.

If you're a supposed Rams fan and you're not rooting for every Seahawk to have a heart attack before kickoff tomorrow you're not really a fan.
I'm still hopeful that the ground will open up and swallow Levi's sometime today so the game is cancelled and can't be reasonably re-scheduled. The Year W/O a Champion!

Fuck both those teams.

Nobody else thinks these comments by Verse are ALARMING?

"We mentally shut down"
"We didnt know what to do"
"Theyre not just laying down"

Chris Shula has to be called into question here too. Rams need a defensive RE-VAMP.

He's not the most polished interview but I think he did all he could to not blame the secondary 100%. JMO

This just means they weren't prepared, and we all saw that. We were outcoached and Seattle did whatever they wanted to do.

Or he sounds like maybe he got tight and froze up a bit. Not sure if he is really representing all the players on D or just him? Because he was fairly invisible. Players still have to make plays, especially a pass rusher. He does not depend that much on scheme. He just needs to beat his man doesn't he?

I would be more concerned if Lake came out and said that the secondary didn't know what they were doing.

I don’t love those comments but he’s being honest.

Losing AD was brutal because we also lost a veteran player / presence who’s been there before.

These young guys are still learning and I think, if anything, Verse learned something (I hope).

I just sat through the 42 minutes, 35 seconds interview ... and ... have absolutely NO PROBLEM with anything Verse said. If anything, it makes me feel even stronger and better about the Rams' star-Edge player.

If anyone wants to disagree that is fine but if someone disagrees based solely on the Cameron Dasilva RamsWire article, or the few quotes noted in it (and in some of the above posts) then I think that person has totally missed-the-boat because that is out-of-context.

If anything, Verse is suggesting some over-confidence and some mental break-downs in coverage ... and anyone who watched (and re-watched) the game, should know there were some breakdowns in coverage.

Self awareness, which he shows in spades, is very important as long as you learn from the experience.

YAAAAAAAAAYYYY Earthquake!

I love The Pivot. It's definitely my favorite podcast out there.

I don't know about that. The shecocks are a very good team. We got outplayed. One or two plays changes the outcome. It really can be that simple. That was not the other team doing whatever they wanted. If it was, it wouldn't have been close.
