That's true about the offensive line. I can see us drafting a center in the second round to replace Blythe and push Allen/Shelton. But I have faith in Evans and Edwards when it comes to stepping in and playing well.

Josh Myers (Ohio State), Creed Humphrey (Oklahoma), Drake Jackson (Kentucky), Trey Hill (Georgia), and Jimmy Morrissey (Pitt) are the ones I'm watching. Myers is my personal favorite, but I wouldn't say no to Humphrey. The others have their warts, but could be good.

They gave up two 1sts in trade for him knowing full well that he was gonna have to be paid top dollar.

But he’s a proven elite player, still young and healthy, at a premium position in today’s NFL. A playmaking stud that can wreck opposing game plans. Zero off field PR issues.

Great teammate, very coachable, super football smart, and tremendously versatile for Staley to use in so many ways.

All I know is I can’t wait to see Aaron Donald supported by a lockdown CB for a full 16 game season. Small sample size but it is worth noting that AD had 1 sack the first five games last season when our secondary was a disaster and he had 11.5 the last 11 games after Ramsey was here and settled in.

If I remember my numbers correctly, the Rams were averaging 2.1 sacks/game before Ramsey, 3.7 sacks/game after Ramsey. That's pretty damn significant jump.

Here are the details of All-Pro Tre Whites contract as we know now. I don't know who is the better CB but, I guess they have similar abilities. White had 6 Ints to Ramsey's 1 last year. The Rams get Ramsey for an extra year at a cost of $35Mil more than White's deal. It is what it is but, it sure seems like the Bills got a much better deal. Ramsey did play his 4th year at a lower dollar amount. If Ramsey's deal is reportedly structured to pay him less in the first two years which helps. I guess this year it could have less of a cap hit than what the Rams were paying him in the 5th year option.

Nice to here the report above that he had a great camp. Still seems like not doing an extension and trade deal cost the Rams millions of dollars.
