Get moving still active.

Since you’re speaking for younger members I’ll go ahead and assume you are one. You were attracted to this site almost 5 years ago and are still posting whiles simultaneously saying this site can’t attract and keep younger members. Now you are threatening a mod that if he doesn’t delete your account you’ll remain active ...truthfully I’m finding this entertaining but does any of this actually make sense to you?

Ebukam has proved himself to be a legit impact player. His stats were down last year simply because Wade's love of aging players i.e. Clay Mathews who was a joke. Clay's stats were inflated because of AD's play and he simply mopped up. Ebukam has created his stats via good play. Look at his play in 2018 and you see what I mean in both the KC game and especially the NO game. It was his hit on Brees at the end of the game that sealed the victory. His fumble recovery and INT in the KC game was because he was disciplined and playing exactly how he needed to be played. Also in that KC game, you see him setting a hard edge in contain when Mahomes tried to scramble to his right.

The Sam LB position is probably the most underrated position in the 3-4 hybrid scheme. He must cover, set a hard edge in the run game, and be an effective blitzer. Not every OLB can do that. Fowler for all his hype isn't on the team because he couldn't drop. Floyd will validate Staley's confidence in him. He's a complete JACK LB in that he can provide a good pass rush but also drop into coverage when asked, something Fowler was miserable at.

I have no doubt that Floyd will be extended and is considered a priority extension next behind Kupp. After him will be Ebukam and Everett with Samson as a full-time player is the obvious higher priority. Resigning Samson will IMO come down to his desire to stay with the Rams or go for the money. The FA market will be there for both Everett and Ebukam with the bigger market for the TE as opposed to the OLB. That said 2018 showed the league just how good Ebukam has become at his position.

I have faith in both Floyd and Ebukam to be impact players for us. All I'm saying is that if they have good years, they'll cost a lot of money, especially if Kupp signs.

Right? Is it wrong for me to be laughing about the ridiculousness of the whole thing? Fucking hilarious.

The age listed on his profile (yes, I looked) was 53. Yeah, like he speaks for the younger generation.

And yeah, I laughed, too. Sue me. :p

I think saying Ebukam is a proven commodity is a huge stretch. He‘s had a few good games but far from proven. That’s like saying Boom, Allen, Evans and Edwards are proven, they’ve almost all had some good games or tape.

True. I do have more faith than I should at times, but hey, it's the beginning of the football season, right?

I merged three threads into one. The one I merged it into was the first one to hit. They were all about a minute apart so don't get your panties in a bunch.

If that's enough to make you want to leave then don't let the door hit you on the way out.

BTW ... The reason his post shows up first is BECAUSE it was in first. We don't control that.
I really don’t think mods should be so thin skinned as to encourage a member to quit. Why does his complaint put YOUR panties in wad?

Because it's really a bullshit attention-seeking complaint. ScotsRam was actually first in terms of time breaking the news. He claims that the site doesn't do well to attract younger members, and yet he's fucking 53, which is not a spring chicken.

He basically turned into a troll for whatever reason.

My comment wasn’t addressed to you but I would expect the mods to manage the board without being insulting themselves.

Anyone up for meeting up for a few beers down the old boys club later?

Dang, I'm all out of Cubans, and already downed my $28,000 Balvenie 50 Scotch for the Ramsey contract news.

Someone else needs to chip in this time and provide the lady companionship...

Thin skinned? THIN SKINNED? Why oughta... :ROFLMAO:

Yeah... Moving on. If someone is going to ask to be banned for something this trivial then they will surely get their wish and he did.

Stu granted his request. Nobody encouraged him to quit. He stated that he was quitting and told the mods to delete his account.

All I know is I can’t wait to see Aaron Donald supported by a lockdown CB for a full 16 game season. Small sample size but it is worth noting that AD had 1 sack the first five games last season when our secondary was a disaster and he had 11.5 the last 11 games after Ramsey was here and settled in.

That’s a 5 year extension - does that mean he plays this year on rookie deal and then 5 more years?

So he is locked thru 2026?

Give me 6 years of all pro corner and this won’t have been such a bad deal.

Yes he’s signed thru 2026, 2027 he’s a free agent. No big deal.
