49ers - Brieda, Kittle, Solomon Thomas, and Malcolm Smith all went down with injuries. Kittle is day-to-day with a shoulder injury. Brieda has a shoulder injury as well, it sounds worse than Kittle. From everything I've read, Breida was set for a big role in their running game.

Update: Kittle is going to be out a while as well.

This is from Monday:

Rams TE Gerald Everett is sidelined with a shoulder sprain, HC Sean McVay said. "You guys see him out here where he had a little splint. We’re going to be smart with him," McVay said. "So, he’ll probably be doing rehab and different things like that for at least the next week or so ... Fortunately, it’s not something right now that we felt like had to get fixed, but until you really go through that process you never know how it’s truly going to respond.”

Did he land on his shoulder? Sounds like an AC injury. Surgery won't help much, but extending your arms is very painful. Agree with the team's decision and treatment. Maybe we'll see him last preseason game, but don't count on it.

You just might get a report on Spruce (competing for a roster spot with the Chargers). Chargers are practicing just a few miles away in Costa Mesa and I'm contemplating going to one of their practices. They go at 10am and I can still make the 3pm Ram practice. Would be interesting to compare the two teams and how they practice.

Anyone interested in a Charger TC report?

Go for it, Sam!

Report was that he hurt his hip quiting on a play.

They say it takes more face muscles to frown than smile.
Apparently it also takes more hip action to quit on a play.
