Children watch football and IMO shouldn't see this.

Children see a lot of shit they shouldn't see. That's just the world. It's a parent's job to teach children how to respond and react to certain situations. You can't bubble wrap everything.

I like trash talk. I like stupid celebrations. I like tackle football.

There's a back story to Moss shooting the Moon at Green Bay if you haven't heard.

Apparently, for a long time, many Packer fans started a tradition of mooning the team bus of the opposing teams as they pull out of the stadium after games. So, Moss was just getting back at them after his TD.

I'd say it wasn't the most classy thing to do on national tv, but knowing the back story makes it pretty damn funny to me!

I thought the Browns had lost their damn mind when they let him go. But after I saw that, I was happy they did it. Trash...complete trash.

This is strictly my opinion but if you get offended by butt wiping and crotch grabbing then you need to wake up and smell the coffee. We’re not living in the 80s or 90s anymore. We’re at a point in time where kids have access to the World Wide Web on their smartphones and tablets. They can practically search for anything and everything their little hearts desire. I can almost guarantee you your children have or will have looked at something more vulgar. As long as you raise your children right I doubt these celebrations will affect their development to become decent human beings.

In other words

Reminds me of 2yrs ago when my son was 7 and me and my wife was outside on the porch and he comes to the door and asked use a question about something... I forget... Anyways his little pecker was hard... Poking straight out. Lol we asked him what he was doing. He says looking at the girls on grand theft auto on youtube.

Not offended by the celebration, but it should warrant a flag or ejection; someone's gonna try to be more egregious than that if the refs continue to be lax about it.

It got a flag. It'll get a fine too. And his teammates are partially blaming him for the loss. It doesn't sound lax to me. Ejections should be reserved for much more serious things, like fighting, trying to injure a player, etc

If you've ever been to a game and heard the shit some of these fans yell at opposing teams players, acting like wiping your butt with the ball and throwing it back is the nice thing to do if i were the player.

Some of us fans need to take a look in the mirror, bc a football game in most cities is hardly a family friendly atmosphere. A bunch of grown men drunk as hell, yelling and talking shit.

Not offended by the celebration

I don't think ANYONE has said they were offended.

That wasn't the point.

I'm not even close to offended by any of these things... but I think they look trashy and stupid.

See above on the first part.

It's the continuing down-sliding of class and decency and sportsmanship.

And as far as the second part yes they do look bad and shit like this just eludes Goodell. He simply doesn't see it the way his customers do, he just doesn't.

Again........who is offended? Nobody.

Why is it that when someone doesn't like something that lacks class and is shameful that person is automatically offended?

I like trash talk. I like stupid celebrations. I like tackle football.

IMO this was much more of a taunt than a celebration.

Yeah I have heard that and I had also heard that some of the Lions players gave it back to them from the windows of the bus on one occasion.

I can't imagine how that got started.

i miss the days of just spiking the ball or better yet, handing it to the official. or the occasional jack youngblood hurl into the crowd after a pick 6 is ok too. its @ 1:35 of the video. one of the best pick 6's ever in my humble, biased opinion.

You know how good a player has to be to catch and drop Bo Jackson for a loss???

It's truly amazing because Youngblood retires a few years before Bo Jackson was drafted.

He managed to run through time to get him!!

In reality Bo could have probably bunny hopped away from Jack. He was that fast. 4.13 40 fast.

No I'm not offended.

I'm merely pointing out that its lowbrow and he deserves more than a little fine. Being crude accomplishes nothing but hurting the sport and fans don't want to see that type of taunt. Same with the crotch grab.

And Goodell has the unilateral power to go above and beyond the rules and we have sen him do that.

What has happened that these types of things are not acceptable/funny/cool?

I disagree that it won't make football better. And I don't mean the quality of the play on the field.

And as far as suspending Crowell making society better it would take a little more that just that. I don't know how you think I was implying that.
