Team picking 4th scored 32 on the Rams, that says more about the Rams then it does the Niners. They also scored more against the Bears than the Rams did.........

Right. What it actually says is that the Rams were up 28-3 midway through the second quarter after forcing three interceptions, 38-10 three minutes into the 3rd quarter and 48-17 three minutes into the 4th quarter. They then started playing subs. McVay let up on the pedal playing against his former boss Shanahan.

Can't wait to see how the Vikings do in the playoffs this year. You know what time their game is on at?

The Rams 2 games against SF were never in question, both games were over before halftime. No matter how you spin it the bears will not have a chance to go far in the playoffs. If they beat philly they will have to go on the road where they are far from stellar. You can hang your hat on the whiners points in garbage time against our back ups, but that has no bearing on the playoffs, unless the Rams are up big and put in their back ups in a playoff game. Did the Bears blowout anyone and rest their starters? No because all but 1 of their games came down to the very end.
And the Rams beat who on the road? The Lions, Cardinals, Seahawks, Raiders, Broncos, Niners. Wow. color me impressed. One team on the road that had a winning record. I would say the Rams road record is far from stellar. But that's just me.

What are you saying? The Rams went 6-2 on the road. Winning in the NFL is hard but going on the road is even harder. You play the teams on your schedule.

The Vikings on the road tied the Packers, beat the Titans, the Jets, the Eagles, and the Lions. One good team you beat. Big whoopie! Your team didn't get the job done, ours did.

Yeah Raptor's usually pretty level headed but he knows damn well that comment is BS. What we're seeing right now is playoff blues, dude needs to get his offseason on he'll be ok. :p

This isn't about the Vikings. This is about the Bears and the Rams. Both the Bears and the Rams don't have stellar road wins. Period. And anyone who thinks so is fooling themselves. Teams that win the Super Bowl beat good team's on the Road. Period. I knew when my Vikings lost to the Rams that they probably wouldn't make it to the Super Bowl. And losing to the Bears on the road reinforced that. Had my team made it to the playoffs, most likely they would be one and done. You play who you play where the NFL says. The Vikings had all their "tough" games on the Road this year. Rams, Eagles, Bears, Patriots, Seahawks. Only "tough" game not in the division at home was the Saints. Just the way it is.

I am not impressed with the Rams Defense. All those "stars" and they can't stop people from scoring when they have too. Fortunately they were able to score points on offense during the season to make up for it. But today, every team is 0-0. It's a new season. There are 8 teams not in the playoffs that have a better ppg given up than that Rams. There are 11 teams in the playoffs that did better than the Rams. The Rams have a tough road to hoe. I'm not saying they can't, but it's not likely.

on the contrary they couldn't stop people scoring until they had to. they always came up big at the end of games to close them out and get the win. that's how they got to 13 wins.

Aw c’mon Raptor dude, that 4th quarter comeback win vs Seattle...in that environment (as mentioned, your ladies played there this year) was quite stellar

Lets keep it real amigo

I hope and pray the Bears somehow make it past Philly tomorrow, of the other 4 NFC playoff teams, I actually like that matchup best, 6-6 at halftime after Rams played their worst 1st half in two years, Beats won’t be so fortunate next time

OMG! The Panthers roughed up the Saints and scored 33 in that last game. I guess the Saints are doomed to one and done based on that logic.

Bears are from the weak NFC north they are only in the playoffs because no team in their division wanted to be in the playoffs. They are good at home and below average on the road, so they might beat philly but will be knocked out in the divisional round.
very true, weak ass NFC north this year

Yeah and while we're on that, why doesn't anyone ever bring up the Cheats' joke "annual pass to the playoffs for the last 20 years" division? Instead it's an unprecedented run.

Didnt the bears lose on the road to teams with a losing record? Just admit no team from the NFC North deserves to be in the playoffs, but someone had to named the division winner.

The Rams D was able to stop teams when they needed to in 13 games. Which is 1 game more then the bears D got stops when they needed them. So why do you think the bears D is so much better then the Rams? Wins are what matter not points. The Rams just happen to be able to score points on O, this doesnt mean that their D is no good. The Rams are a better TEAM than the bears, TEAMS win championships.

I agree it's a new season.

The Rams D was terrible in mid season without Talib and a lot better with him. They have key players who, for different reasons, are in position to play their best football-- Fowler (learning the scheme), Middleton (learning the position), Barron (finally getting healthy and his speed back), and Peters (no longer having to be No. 1 cb). I expect them to play well in downfield coverage, put a lot of pressure on the opposing qbs, and consistently force turnovers. They have shown signs of this recently.

If this happens they can beat anyone and run the table.

Funny, had the Rams lost to the Niners that last game, they would be playing this week instead of the Bears. But Let's not talk about that.

Teams that don't give up a lot of points win championships. But what do I know. You know why the Patriots have 5 rings in 20 years? 18.8 ppg on defense, over 20 years.

This is a listing of the Pats defense ppg since 2000. And the outcome of each season. From lowest to highest. Not once since the year 2000 have they given up more thant 21.6 ppg on defense. But, defense doesn't' win championships.
