Everett is expendable with the past few drafts. He reminds me of J Cooks, some games it's like he's all pro with no peer. Then 3-5 games go by and you're like he we still have Everett on the squad. Just my lazy opinion.

And yes the Higbee contract looks way better now. Last September it was a head scratcher.

Kinda surprised Kittle new contract wasn’t higher. Maybe a bit of bad timing with CV and the lower cap coming. But that hasn’t impacted the QB and DE markets at all.

Highest paid TE gets 10 mill per year, he's getting 15 mill per.
15 mill is WR money

Maybe Snead wants to collect sixth round picks again?
Maybe. But I think there's every reason to expect Everett to play well this season. He's got the offense down. He is in a contract season. I expect him to play well enough that fans will clamor for us to sign him (and he'll get a nice fat contract on the FA market) but IMO for the Rams that ship has sailed. :beer2:

I think someone will give him the same contact as Higbee.

I believe if he plays well he'll get more than Higs' deal. Open market plus the difficulty of developing these motherfuckers. TEs man, they're a pain to get to that point where they start hitting in all phases.

Maybe its the new math that has me all messed up but per my calculations using the old math method that comes to 11.4 M per year
There’s a new Math out?

The old Math didn’t add up huh?

Ahh yes. My post in this thread aged perfectly, as did some others. Higs will be an absolute bargain if he continues to ball out like he did second half of last season.

Good point, but still seems good value when slotted there. Makes you wonder what DeAndre Hopkins is complaining about.

It was interesting reading the entire thread over again. Couldn't find the incentives in Higbee's deal. Something tells me he will hit some of them.

I was hoping Kittle would get more money. I think he is worth more money. It's still a big jump from others except the new Kelce deal. I thought the $17-18 Mil range was a fair deal.

kelce just got a new deal. Over $57m for 5 years. $14.3m per year.
Not exactly though, its an extension where he has 2 years and 18 mill left.
So its essentially a 6 year 75 mill deal, or 12.5 per

Yep, I’m really looking forward to Higbee continuing how he ended last season to make me eat crow about not being a top 10 TE.

When a player out performs the majority of fans expectations I think we will all gladly eat crow. Crap maybe even without salt if he hits 1K in receiving along with Kupp and Woods.
