Have you ever seen the new math that they are teaching kids this day - it is all kinds of messed up

it was weird how you would show your kids how to work out some calculations and they would tell you you're doing it wrong. how is it wrong when you get the right answer?

Yeah, fuck math. I failed middle school geometry. I still have no idea how I passed high school with the fractions, decimals, etc.

Maybe. But I think there's every reason to expect Everett to play well this season. He's got the offense down. He is in a contract season. I expect him to play well enough that fans will clamor for us to sign him (and he'll get a nice fat contract on the FA market) but IMO for the Rams that ship has sailed. :beer2:

You can’t sign everybody. Hopefully has has a Pro bowl season & helps The Rams to the promise land ??

McSnead stock pilling with Jefferson & Hopkins both. Gives them time to settle in for a season. If a player goes down you have them stepping up a season early.

Last season signing David Long & Tyler Rapp is going to workout fine.
Reach for an offensive lineman is silly. You also saw how many offensive lineman went early this season.

Just to make sure I was on the right post. Higbee’s deal looks really good right now. He is growing his hair out. Let’s see what that look does for him in 2020. Wonder if he will hold his Junk diving into the end zone like Peters.
Saw a pro Bowl competition & who do I see grabbing his Fat Johnson on a taped competition. Tyler Higbee getting all up in it for the camera’s. Old town Simi Valley porn baby. Great work.
B just as long as he is not knocking someone out & going to jail it’s all good as long as he keeps showing up on Sunday.

I showed my stepson how to do division and the kid came home saying he got an F for doing it wrong even though he got the right answer every time.

WTF

Yup.
They want to see the common core method as proof.
Instead of solving a math problem as a whole, common core breaks every equation down to 100s / 10s / 1s. Somewhat like a hand written abacus.
They also have many different formats for doing so. Which can get confusing.

It is bullshit too. I was taught the old fashion way and I can still calculate the change faster than the cashiers calculating it on the cash register.

There should be two classes for math students. One who don't get math should be taught the new method and the one's who are good at math should be taught the old method. I know I know - it's not fair to break up classes between the good students and the not so good students - pfft.

When I was in school, I never did well on the placement tests for whatever reason. I was always put in the second tier class for English and Math to begin the school semester and I was bored as heck with the class. After two weeks, the teacher would notice that I didn't belong in his/her class and I was always moved up to the first tier English and Math classes. Those classes were much harder and I sure as heck wasn't bored then. I had to work my ass off.

Kids today - if they are smart - are probably bored as heck since teachers have to take extra time to help the kids that need extra help.
