He’s not doing himself any favors acting like this. Just reinforces the negative image his body language has put out.

But to his defense, first they blame him when he can’t run behind the perhaps worst Oline in Football. Then they cut him, then they won’t pay him.

I would be a little pissed if I were him as well.

Not to excuse the classless attitude.

I don't think anyone blamed him think about it if you spend that kind of money the rams could of just run him til his leg fell off. There was more to it with you he coach his body language the constant eye rolls and just look at how he spoke to the media which I am no fan of but the dude has every right to feel however he wants to feel but so do we man. I was team Gurley all the way and probably would have pulled for him on Sundays when it doesn't hurt the rams but now he just another player to me.

Just listened to the whole thing, not just the one segment I pointed out earlier. I think it a joke or it's misinterpreted by the media. All of the headlines say he's still mad and "I better have my money", but at the end of the talk about his contract he says that he knows that he's going to get it and it is what it is, and "let go and let god". He also talks about reaching out to Akers after being drafted and wishing him well, talks up former teammates, and mentions joking with former teammates about if they play each other. But I guess that doesn't sell.
And this is the problem with media today, They dont care about the facts. They will post a click bait headline and whe its proven false, they will then write a retraction. Except less than half the people ever see the retraction and in the end they get paid twice.

Here's the audio. It sounds a lot better than it reads, right before he talks about how there was no tension and that he still has love for them and then laughs about it. It starts right at the 6 minute mark. But who knows. Still sucks that he can't let this go, or do it privately.

He is making a big deal out of nothing as he says he needs to get his money by June 1. He wasn't very clear about who isn't talking to or texting. Later he says he be telling his Rams teammates that when he sees them it will be bad. (I guess playing against them). He is a little bitter. He loves LA.

It's a shame that TG and the Rams couldn't work out a financial deal to keep him a Ram. I don't think they tried to. It wasn't reported so I doubt it. The Rams made a decision to get out of his contract as they felt he wasn't playing up to the cost. I think he resented McVay holding him back last year. They did him right paying him very well with that deal before they had too. I don't think he needs to bring up the money even if he is kinda joking about it. TG has been a class act but, this tarnishes his reputation at least to me. I always liked to listen to his press conferences as he was a breath of fresh air answering questions honestly while actually not giving patented "Nuke LaLoosh" answers.

What's he got to be pissed about? The Rams have already paid him $38.5m.

He should be thanking them for the rest of his life that they did good by him. If he was with the chargers they would have made him play out his contract and he would have never seen his big payday.

.

I am going to give him the benefit of the doubt. He may be a bit miffed but he’s not in full force attack mode on the Rams organization. He does need to be aware that any sound bite from him can be used against him. It is time for him and the Rams to move forward.

Gurley is mentioning June 1st perhaps that's what it says in his contract. That being said these quotes from one of the articles about it from Gurley pretty much explains possibly why he was cut. Yes his knee is less than perfect but the rams still could have run him into the ground to get there money's worth. That being said wether it's anger or not this sums it up in a nutshell. The exact truth hopefully comes out but what do the exteammates and friends have to do with it?

“I still ain’t got my money, so it’s really, forget the Rams right now. I don’t even care about them,” he said on Uninterrupted. “I told my ex-teammates that they can’t even text me or call me until I get my money. As soon as I get my money, then I’ll be cool with everybody else.”
I don’t know what their reason is. And the worst thing about it is they know they have to pay me too,” he said. “Apparently probably just using the COVID thing as an excuse. Or they probably ain’t got no money to be paying anybody. They’ve got that stadium being built right now. All I know is, come June 1st, I better have my money.”

Dude is bitter!!!

I always knew you were a little bitch, Gurley. Can't wait to see Akers & Henderson do things you couldn't do... like see an open hole.

Condemn TG without a) the facts or b) context, as in maybe LISTEN to the fucking tape.
Much much easier to join the mob.
Proud of y’all.

I'm not going to hate Gurley.

One of the most unselfish players on the field.

Money and fame fucks up a lot of young dudes. I'm disappointed, but I will hold onto some fucking awesome Gurley memories while I watch for my OROTY and favorite player in this draft, Cam "The RAM" Akers to continue this teams tradition of badass muthafuckin running backs, my favorite position.
McCutcheon
Bettis
Jackson
Gurley
Dickerson
Faulk
Hopefully someday we will be talking about where Cam fits in all this.

Most of us usually do read and listen nobody just joins the mob here typically for the sake of joining. The better questions are did Gurley read his contract? Did his agent read his contract? Are the Rams indeed wrong?

No matter how many time you listen the dude sounds petty bitter and ungrateful that being said just reading it makes it worse but with audio still sounds like an ass. Sorry bro can't agree on this one.

But Vegas regardless of this happening now. His sideline attitude which was televised shows differently. You are entitled to your thoughts but come on. Something has been off and it has been shown. People now days are all actors especially nfl players. You think everything is hunky dory? Wake up because soon enough you will realize. This is all a game.

Read it and listened to it and still don't like what he's saying/doing. Sorry to disappoint you but this isn't a good look from him.

You're right. Shame on people reacting to a NEWS article. Don't people know nowadays that source of information that used to be respectable is now nothing other than clickbait formulated for ad revenue? The gall. Hmph.
