Based on their history I’d imagine the Rams are in the right on this. I can’t imagine they’d pick this time to get cheap and try to screw a player out of the money. Just have to wonder at the agents motivation, are they thinking that sending Gurley and Matthews our to complain will pressure the Rams into paying earlier or something? I'll give him the benefit of the doubt as far as being disruptive. His team mates seemed to like the guy. So he's bitching about money and it's clear he's bitter. Except that's not what he said at all. He said right before that he has "love for everyone", then said "well not everyone". Then proceeded to talk about the FO office owing him money. He then goes on to say he told his ex teammates that "they" cant call or text him. Hes still talking about the front office, not his teammates.

It pretty much sounds how it reads to me honestly. He is who he is glad we moved on.

The talking to the guys thing is the worst but trying to paint a picture that the team that made him gave give all his money rewarded him yes he earned it but the rams didn't have to give it look like they cash poor that's petty man.

Like I said Kroenke has more money than Gurley will ever see 100 times over. That stadium he so hung up on he may never get to play in it and definitely not as a ram.

Just listened to the whole thing, not just the one segment I pointed out earlier. I think it a joke or it's misinterpreted by the media. All of the headlines say he's still mad and "I better have my money", but at the end of the talk about his contract he says that he knows that he's going to get it and it is what it is, and "let go and let god". He also talks about reaching out to Akers after being drafted and wishing him well, talks up former teammates, and mentions joking with former teammates about if they play each other. But I guess that doesn't sell.
