As competitive as McVay is would suggest he surely wants what beat him last year, an explosive home run hitter. But moving up in this draft, when the Rams can get another 3 starters staying put at 26. Either way, you put the future on Jeanty because it’ll cost you your QB capital in 26 and maybe 27. He’s a talent for sure but we might have to make Stafford play through the 28 season if you draft him. I’d think the Rams might take another approach and still draft a.RB early that has explosive speed. They might not be in the all eggs in one basket mode.

Barkley's six foot, weighs 230, and ran a 4.4. Jeanty is, again, a fine prospect. But he is no Barkley and only idiot recency media types are going to draw that comparison.

Outside of Saquon, he's the best back in a number of years imo. He's a lot like Marshawn Lynch in terms of his ability to make people miss and break tackles. But he's also a great pass catcher. The two big weaknesses seem to be fumbling and iffy pass pro. But he has the strength and physicality to improve in pass pro. Fumbles is something that is also teachable to a degree.

Funny, I know the numbers are what they are, but I can only remember one fumble during his college career. He's pretty good at ball security. Pass-pro as well. Engages blockers and a willing blocker.

As a stark Kyren defender... Hampton does make sense. Really explosive runner who ran a lot of duo concept with UNC, translates well to what we've been trying to do with the run game the past few years. Plus Kyren in the last year of his contract...

He's a hell of a player no doubt. I think his contact balance is very rare. Lynch had power through contact, he could dictate. This dude can disengage and elude tacklers, it's impressive.

I just dislike media types who can't keep perspective because they want to sensationalize and drive storylines. And I don't think that type of nonsense is good for players either. Casual fans then expect them to part the red sea on their shitty teams and sour quickly when they can't.
