I'm with Eisen, I have a ton of optimism left for this 2025 Rams team. They are incredibly well built and solid in all 3 phases. (With the lone exception of Blackburn's problem with coaching protection schemes on kicks).

Rams still have as good a chance as anyone else out there. They are definitely still a top team. IMO, the doom and gloom about last night was excessive. Just my 2 cents.

Werent the Rams 1-4 at this point last year? Granted injuries played a big part in that, but the team finished strong just like they will this season.

Not calling for it. Just curious If McVay decides Williams fumbles outweigh
his contribution.
Again this whole thing is above my knowledge. Just wonder as a HC if
his patience turns to doubt in his RB.
Between that and the blocked kicks I wouldn't want to walk in his shoes.
still early and at least we still have better record than last two years.
Just too much talent to be making these mistakes.
honestly looking forward to bye week. McVay seems to wave his wand during week off. lol

We are 3-2 and should be 5-0. A VERY talented young team with a QB playing at a all world level. The best WR duo in the NFL.
Best young D line in football.
This will all seem like small potato's, a bump in the road so to speak.
When we win the Fucking Super Bowl none of this will matter.
Stafford will not be done, but re invigorated and come back for several more great years.
McSnead will invest in to O line to give our QB peace of mind.
Best time ever to be a Rams fan.

Still comes down to the fact this team needs a corner. Otherwise they will get knocked out of playoffs by the first team with strong pass pro.

Our o line will keep us from going anywhere in the playoffs and possibly out of the playoffs all together!

The difference with the OL is that it does have the pieces to make a run. It requires health, but you can say that about a lot of contenders. If things go their way in that regard there's a good chance they'll be in that zone McVay OLs usually are end of the year, with all their early season bullshit kinks worked out.

Shelton is a weak link. But we should get Avila back and he and Dotson as an OG duo are the kind of guards who can protect a weak center. This assumes that Avila returns to earlier form. So not a given but this unit has talent.

As opposed to the corner position which is a hot fucking mess.

Yeah, we definitely need a good corner but hoping for perfect health just to have an average line is getting annoying.

So much doom and gloom around here. SMH

it's not doom and gloom, it's being realistic.

Here's the thing, McVay has been a contender most years he's been the Rams HC. Each of the last 2 seasons we've progressed to the point of expecting to be a championship caliber team this year. Fans know it, the players know it, so the stakes are high. Obviously unforeseen injuries could and would derail that. But we have expectations and so does McVay, but what we've been rolling out there the first 5 weeks is too undisciplined to be a serious contender at this point. Not saying it can't happen, but right now it doesn't pass the smell test.

I often see the term realist or realistic being used as the moniker for negativity. I just don’t see what good it does or where the fun is in it.

We lost two games we should have won. We’re not playing up to expectations. I get all that. We’re 3-2 and certainly haven’t played our best ball.

We’re a good team. We have a good possibility of going deep in the playoffs. But when you see the majority of posts being all about the negative - often even after we win - I just shake my head.

I get the frustration at times. But sometimes it gets a little too thick.

We just lost to the Shitters so it's expected for the board to be angry. I don't see too much doom and gloom though. I see a lot of people realizing we have a damn good team with a couple key holes.
