we could go a lot farther with him in the backfield. Just sayin. McVay would have to scheme for it and May be Stafford could toss his long balls less and play dink and dunk and then strike. A guy can dream. Go rams.

No interest in RBs nearing, at, or past age 30. Particularly with the amount of tread off those tires. Last 3 years:

2021, 117.1 YPG; 2022, 96.1 YPG; 2023, 70.8 YPG. There's a distinct direction and it ain't up.

Only on the cheap. He’s definitely on the back side.

If we were serious contenders, I would think about it. He's been rode hard and put away wet. He would only good for the rest of this year.

Good to hear the Rams aren’t satisfied with same ol sorry ass 7-9 (errrrr 8-9) bullshit.
Remember in the Fisher days if you said that online the mods would get all butthurt here! :laugh2: " that's not funny!!"

Henry's remaining cap hit is more than the space the Rams have. Other moves/restructures would have to take place. That said add me to the people hesitant to add him even with him only signed through this year.

Had we beaten Cincy or Pitt maybe, we didn't so no. We are a win one lose one team with a possible shot at a 7 slot and likely early out, no mortgages. Stick to the plan, there are greater needs

I’m good with them checking on every player in the league, they’d be remiss if they didn’t.

From the look in McVay’s eye, he isn’t having any of the throw away year bullshit. If they can find ways to make tge team better without making stupid moves, I believe they will.

Getting Henry makes the RB room better but it has to be for the right term and price. With the current devaluation if RBs throughout the last few years, he can’t be worth much with that contract.

We don't have the run blocking Oline to take advantage of a back like Henry.

Besides, Mcvay has a clear aversion to running the ball when it doesn't work for a few snaps.
I wouldn't necessarily say we don't have the line as Kyren was doing pretty good behind that line. Maybe the Rams coaching staff is seeing holes that better RBs can better exploit. I'm not advocating them trading for Henry, but simply trying to think why they may want to add him if the rumors are true. I'm just going to watch what happens and enjoy my popcorn.

If he was cheap, why not. If they really did inquire about Derrick Henry then either Kyren has a more serious injury than they let on, or they realised their folly in over using a small back like Kyren.

The last 2 weeks that line has been moving people. Kyren Williams had a great game and even Henderson off the couch and Freeman didn't look bad.

If Tennessee wants to pick up the lion's share of the 5-6 mill salary, and takes a 5-7 round pick, then sure
