I'm not really upset at the fact he didn't run the drill, more so about the fact that he was pulled already.

I completely understand getting him out of the line of fire because of the crap we call an o-line out there right now. But, the kids already been hearing he'll start the season on the bench. Why not give him some time to get the feel of the game under him? Is that not what preseason is for?

It doesn't even baffle me that Fisher does crap like this.

I'm annoyed he was pulled already too.

And he has no business starting the season on the bench. My patience for Fisher ran out last season.

The Rams should have been playing Mannion a lot more last year. Fisher has a huge problem continuing to keep players in that are not performing and not giving others playing time that need it.

Let's relax.

I'm relaxed. I've just heard so much about his drops in camp and then to see them in real game action makes me think this is a real problem for him. Sounds like he has a lot of potential in other aspects of being a WR but holding onto the ball is key.

Hopefully its because Fisher does not want to get Goff killed behind a bunch of back ups.
I completely understand that. But it was his decision to do so in the first place. If he had an ounce of common sense, he'd do like Garrett did and put him out there with the starting o-line.

And I don't even wanna hear the bs of "he hasnt worked with the ones in practice." I doubt Dak got any meaningful time with the 1s in Dallas. Seemed to do Prescott some good.

I'd rather see Goff pulled then getting the heck beat out of him.

If I'm a fan in those stands, I'm walking out right now and pissed the hell off I just wasted my time and money

Welcome to NFL preseason. Biggest ripoff in all of sports for the fan. Regular season prices to watch to a glorified scrimmage Anyone expecting something else hasn't been paying attention to the NFL for the last 20+ years.

Time for GW to start using some scheme with the back ups. And for Mannion to show he is still relevant, probably future trade bait.

I agree Goff should have been in with the 1s.

Preseason is for late round picks and UDFAs to make an impression to all teams. Not to satisfy the internet coaches with unrealistic expectations.
Then, by your logic, why have any players guaranteed to make the roster play at all?

I've seen some talented WRs drop a ton of passes early in their careers. When you have to focus on the depth and the footwork in your routes, you aren't completely focused on catching the ball.
