Though he has backed off it the last couple seasons, Carroll would emphasize preseason wins as a way of turning a losing culture into a winning one. The Seahawks took a scorched earth approach to August winning eight in a row at one point, many of them by blowouts.

As I said, I'd rather Goff run the offense from the huddle than the 2 minute drill. He ran a 2 minute drill style offense his entire college career.
