Exactly ....tools are there but needs to have the smarts. Often times we see a lot of qbs do well in the league without the tools but exceptional football iq and overall intelligence. That's why I want a back up not a Fitzpatrick back up but someone that has those smarts and tools and needs a reboot!

We have to explore getting better at ILB and edge next offseason, especially if we lose Floyd. Defense would be unstoppable then, and we could always add another space eater inside. Look at mid round OL prospects, too, maybe.

We'll need to look at CB, TE, and WR/S depth, too, maybe, but we have a lot of talent and some money coming off in a year or two, plus maybe a 1st rounder again (what was that like again?).

Long way of saying our weaknesses are fairly easy to diagnose, and they're not insurmountable. We have a good window, and some reason to be feel goo, even if this game does not go our way.
