I won't lie. . . I have followed Lions very closely since the Goff/Stafford trade.

Dare I say I have even tried meals with the Lions and their opponent involved. (don't kill me)

One of those meals was Detroit style pizza. It has become one of my more favorite styles and is something my wife worked with me to learn to make at home.

We won't be making that this week but I do recommend trying it in the future.

She is having a birthday party for a friend and they are doing a charcuteire type meal but centered around flat bread. Maybe I'll be able to sneak a few for me!

What are you all thinking!?

Lions will absolutely be bringing all the stuff/trick plays, etc.

What does a Ram fan eat to secure a victory?

Any tips for an out of towner on what to see or do in LA? Have only been there on connecting flights in the past. Good restaurants, etc...

So you must be coming to Sofi for the Rams game I assume.

Weather
We are gonna have a cold spell: for the high low 70's and the lows high 40's. Bring a nice jacket.

Safety
Keep your stuff in front pockets, if you have a murse like I do keep it in front of you. Watch your surroundings and please don't walk around like a zombie with ear buds in your ears and your phone screen in your face.

Places to go
I can only speak for me but I like going to Normans Rare Guitars on Ventura.... A fun place and there are usually famous people openly jamming and if you're good enough you can sit in with them or just listen.

Imperial Vintage Guitars in Studio city.

We like going to the Sunset Strip to The Whisky or The Roxy to catch live music, then afterwards go to the Rainbow for drinks and food or Tenmasa Japanese Restaurant across the street... killer drinks and great sushi.

If you like cars like I do the Petersen Automotive Museum is a cool place.

Food
Mexican - places on Olvera Street.... it gets real.
Lucilles - Best fried chicken or ribs on planet earth IMO and the corn bread is AWESOME.

The game.
Bring ear plugs because the loud DJ music sucks and it sounds off every time the Rams pick up 2 yards.
They said there's a nice breeze that passes through the stadium but I have never felt it so no need for a jacket.
Tailgating is permitted so you can get wasted before going in, just clean up after yourself.

If you get in a pickle just PM me and I'll toss you my cell#.... I have immediate family that are police officers and lawyers.

If you love Hockey like I do, there's a Kings game at 7:00 PM on Saturday.... Always a blast and there are great places to eat in the surrounding areas of Crypto Arena.

Also the Lakers play the clippers on Saturday at the forum which is a good stone throw away from Sofi.

Have a great time and Merry Christmas!!!!!

Not sure if you are a Dodger fan, but work in a Dodger stadium tour.

Hit up Phillipes and The Douglas on Sunset.

Cheer your ass off for the Rams and be LOUD when GOOF has the ball.....

David Ray!!!!

Lol.... I remember my pops constantly yelling at him ...... lol
He was good from 1970 into 1973. Pro Football Weekly publication awarded him their Golden Toe Award that season as he led the NFL in individual scoring while the LA RAMS scored the most points of any team that season. But he was only 3/6 FGs in the Divisional Playoff loss to DULL ASS and the following year, with the goal posts moved from the goal line to the end line, he really struggled and was replaced by Tom Dempsey in 1975.
Interestingly, I came across something on the www several years ago that indicated he had a tryout with Vermeil's Iggles arond 1977 or
so, though he never kicked for them.
Oh, (in my best Columbo voice), one more thing. David Ray caught a pass from Roman Gabriel vs Atlanta in the LA Coliseum in the waning momenst of a game played on 08 NOV 1970 to convert a 3rd down leading to an eventual game tieing TD pass from Gabe to Willie Ellison, preventing the birds from getting their first ever win over the RAMS as the game ended 10-10.
And he attended the same High School in Phenix City, AL (Central) as my mother, hence my moniker.

That's a great story about DR!!!!! I was so focused on John Cappelletti and Jack Snow (two of my fav Rams) I really didn't pay much attention to the kicking game.

My pops and I went to sooo many Rams games from 1969 to 2008..... My dad was always partial to the Coliseum, and he actually liked the Trans World Dome as well. I remember him telling me when flying home that if Anaheim would have supported the Rams like St. Louis did, they would have never left. He thought St. louis was a fun / great place to watch football. He didn't like Sofi at all, he felt all the hoopla going on during the game distracted from what was happening on the field, and you couldn't hear the crack of the pads and helmets like you could at the Coliseum or Trans World Dome.

My dad hated them playing at the BigA and felt they were ruining a great baseball stadium, plus the seats seemed too far from the field. But I always have fun at Rams game no matter where they played.
