When I wrote the title something didn't feel right and I could not pin point it.

I got the pork green chili going tonight!!

It's gonna be awesome!

I am still trying to convince Hilary to make tortillas but she is going to some convention tomorrow with friends.

I am worried that it will be spicy and if that is the case it will become huevos rancheros.

I survived the wedding, but I learned that if you go straight to spirits without the usual 4 or 5 beer warm up you get even more hammered than usual. A rookie error from me.

We're gonna do pizza and I'm going to focus on not vomiting until then.

have some left overs from a party so it's a mix of everything

Korean beef tips
shanghai noodles
some chicken noodle thing (wife told me to put that down)
and the usual cheese and crackers

also some stromboli...fits right in with the rest !!

it's clean out the fridge day I guess

Decided to start the day a little bloody.

Homemade bloody mix with home pickled spicy green beans and anchovy stuffed green olives and Tangueray gin instead of vodka.

This bloody mix is definitely not for the timid. I used tomatoes from my garden, habaneros, horse radish, Worcestershire, green olives, kimchi marinade, and some other spices. And those green beans are sneaky hot. I pickled them with habaneros, garlic, and shallots.

It seems I’m sideways already.

Coincidentally, I was also at a wedding yesterday and have just ordered a big fat curry.

Since I just rolled out of bed.... a cup o'joe and a bagel.

However, we got friends coming by - probably before half-time - to visit for a couple of hours, max.... great timing there.... :wow2:

Excuse my ignorance but what is a French dip... and how is it not a French original?!
Goes great with French Fries.

Thinly sliced roast beef, sirloin, or prime rib (preferably) on a roll (French) with grilled onions and Swiss cheese (and often a horseradish spread) - au jus on the side to dip it in.

Quite tasty if done right. Needs a savory au jus and well seasoned beef. Probably my favorite sandwich if done right.

And yes. It’s an LA original.

That sounds good to be fair.

Going to cook my first ever tri-tip out on the smoker.

We don’t see a lot of tri-tip here, so I saw one at Costco and grabbed it.

Salt, pepper and garlic rub cooked hot and fast around 350-375. Can’t wait to try.

I had no idea that was an LA original. Buffalo has a take on them called Beef on Weck that is so good.
