You have to hope that they really weren't showing anything "real" on offense by starting Pead, ignoring Cook, etc. It's tough when you don't know what their actual goals are in a game like this.

The missed tackles, missed opportunities and mental mistakes all add up to a poor showing by the starters IMO though. It wasn't all bad but they didn't show well overall.

Pead's pass pro is phenomenal tonight. Very impressed.

Not a chance they were showing anything. They started Pead to get him some more playing time, they are trying to feed Austin a bit, they're just staying vanilla I don't have issues with that.

Last preseason they didn't look all that good either. In fact the only time the Rams looked really good in the preseason was under Spags, and we all know how that turned out.

Pead hasn't looked bad at all. When he hasn't got anything, it's because it hasn't been there. He's playing physical and not scared. He's going to make some plays for us this year.

Lol. The Bradford eye roll.
I'd be frustrated too.

Yep, and that pass protection is going to be key.

They're really trying to feed the ball to Austin let him get his drops out now and get some confidence.

Come on Tavon
2nd week in a row Tavon can't haul in a very catchable ball.

More penalties. This group may need to take a step back and quit believing the positive press they've been getting.

And for dogs sake, quit relying on GZ to kick 50+ yarders. They're going to ruin this guy with so many long attempts.

Nine pursuit by Rivers.
And I like Hull as the Mike backer.
