I recognize that in a thread of complex recipes with exotic ingredients, this looks like a crayon drawing but sometimes the simple dishes hit the hardest. Double egg in the hole was a win this morning.

Sorry. Not a fan of battered stuff going into my tacos.
I had fried calamari tacos at the state fair last summer and they were delicious. I kept going back to the booth all day. lol they were only calamari cilantro and onions on soft corn tortillas. The calamari had a bit of a kick to it.
Dinner tonight, the grandkids are coming over. So Miss America picked up some Popeyes chicken.

Interesting. I’d try them. Not sure I’d like them. But I love fried calamari.
Grandkids like strips but I had a 4 piece spicy with a large Mashed taters. I only get to do this when the grandkids stay over for dinner.

I made some bomb ass fried chicken and greens a few weeks back. Soaked the chicken in buttermilk and hot sauce for 12 hrs, then battered and air fried it....i may have posted pics in the GDMT for that week, but here they are again.
That meal was the only thing that could comfort me after that beagles game..... Well, that and a lot of bourbon...

I think @CGI_Ram is still working on it. It’s pretty cool though that the new software has a resizer in it so you don’t keep getting file too large errors. I have to wonder if it’s that tool that is turning some photos sideways.
Yes it is weird. Working on that. So far I haven’t found out why. I will get help on it this week.
Like @RamFan503 said it has something to do with the resizer.

I made Mexican Street Corn Chicken chili soup for the game yesterday. I top it with bacon crumbles, cotija cheese, fresh slices of avocado, and some spicy pepper slices. My wife adds some cron tortilla strips as well. So so good...
Now THAT sounds delicious!
Just keep @RamFan503 away from it. Dude would add milk fish, squid, or skunk.
