My oldest spent a couple of weeks down in Mexico with his in-laws for the holidays. Check out the grub they had one evening at a small restaurant in Xalapa. The husband catches all the food and the wife does all the cooking.

This is Mamey "ice cream". It's a native Mexican fruit that is mashed and put in a sweet potato skin and then frozen. Tastes like cantaloupe with brown sugar.
