I wonder if anyone swaps a 6th for a 7th in 2029.

This IS a very curious situation. Redmond is good enough to make an NFL roster as a #3. Overreacting to one game? I don’t think so. The other teams also know he’s been running with the scout team on the Rams—nothing to sneeze at.

So how hard of a bargain do the Rams drive? A team must feel Redmond won’t last until their turn so the try to jump the line to grab him. What if more than one team calls? Maybe a 6th or 7th period. No swapping.

I have a feeling we are gonna find out how much interest there is in our #6 TE.

I like Redmond's game a lot but I'm not going to overestimate his value at this point. We'll likely try to sneak him on to the PS again and there's a good chance we'll lose him this time, it is what it is.

The real roster question that I came away with is why Hunter deserves to be on the 53 over Dean Connors. Hunter just runs hard in a straight line, but doesn't make guys miss in the open field, doesn't offer much as a pass blocker or receiver, and doesn't play STs. Connors is a shifty RB that can run, block, and catch with legit 4.4 speed. He deserves a legitimate shot to make the roster if he plays well the rest of the preseason imo.

-Davies Allen is IR bound ? He is very important to The 13 Personnel. The beauty in away is it Forces T. Ferg to play more & fit into that 3 MAN Rotation.

We can see why The Rams Drafted Max Klare ? Like I said from the beginning he is like Ben Sko on steroids. Meaning bigger & better hands.He is not faster & Sko actually looked good in preseason game for Pittsburgh.

Dan Villari The Rams paid a lot to sign him as a UDRFA.What’s his worth around The NFL ?

My TAKE is The Rams Offensive Line. My friend I took to a try camp doesn’t really know much.He knew(knows)I’m always YELLING,but I was trying to tell him who is who. Who’d Who !

Long story short he is a Big sports Fan.He also is an Old Drunk!! He doesn’t miss many games or many days off on his 6-12-18 pack days Evenings.
—Truth is his Evaluation was Ty Simpson got into a GROOVE Saturday.His 1st. NFL Game. What he said was you could see his CONFIDENCE Grow.You could see it in his EYES!! He owned The Game,but his Biggest Take for me was .?? He said Ty Simpson had ALL DAY 2 THROW !!

The Rams have SO many talented Players. Dedich is injured & like I’ve said The RAMS are going SHORT in NUMBERS UP FRONT in 2026. The PRACTICE SQUAD is going to be FILLED!!
Then AGAIN #64 is going to make The Roster which I can’t add the numbers. SO lord help me.

Zak Kromer has gotten a few opportunities to interview for OL Coach, but has not landed the main gig yet, but I concur, he is ready. Coach Wendy (Ryan Wendell), very underrated IMHO. He gets automatic buy in because of his playing days and being able to play multiple positions at Center & Guard.

Left Tackle Austin Blaske had a high rating with PFF, even though they had him listed at LG. Watching the game twice, I counted one pressure plus he was very active on the screen TD to Connors.

Left Guard Bill Murray I thought played solid. I did not see any issues and although the RB's ran right more than left, Murray did just fine.

Center Dylan McMahon looked very good, with the exception of a few snaps. Again the screen pass TD, he was there leading the way and had everyone lined up right during the game or so it appeared.

Beaux Limmer at RG played his best game in years and I was happy to see that. They ran over Limmer's side most of the time either left or right off his shoulders and Limmer provided some big holes. Pass Protection was always his issue, but Limmer held up well in that area too. Wyatt Bowles replaced Limmer later and seem to hold up well.

Keegan Trost started at RT and looked very good prior to him getting injured and was replaced by Blake Hance. Hance played well, however, gave up a hit on Simpson on the pass play just before the first half expired. Other then that I saw no pressure from that side of the field. Bryce Henderson came in late and did not give up any pressures of note.

I like the fact they added Bill Murray & Blake Hance. Hance has been active before, Murray has not, but playing in preseason both of them seemed to bring some stability to the OL plus Hance was thrown into the fire after the injury to Trost.

What I saw during 1 of The 2 days I went was a 17 year VETERAN QB all GEEKED UP !! I MEAN as INTO as it GETS for a PRACTICE!!!

No JOKE - The 3 AMIGOS I’ll say like Washington WAY before Mcvay(running in diapers)was there. The Nickname ,but Higbee,Parkinson & Allen run that 13 personnel SO TIGHT!! I know Sean Mcvay is DISAPPOINTED that Allen is hurt.He said SO,but make NO MISTAKE Mattew Stafford LOVES those THREE lining up in 13.

I swear if anyone saw it ?? Stafford’s fingers couldn’t move fast enough on where he wanted this guy to go or that guy to go.It was a thing of Beauty seeing him SO fired up on the possibility’s this 13 thing has to go.

Been rewatching some of our 2025 games, and I had forgotten how clutch Parkinson was in so many games. I also think Davis Allen is underrated though.

That's' the thing about so many teams wanting to copy the Rams with 13 personnel... people underestimated just how talented a group of TEs the Rams had last year.. and how well their skills complimented each other. This year? 13 is going to be supercharged with a grown-up TFerg.

I agree that Parkinson has greater value than Allen. The Rams are grooming Klare to become the 2027 Y-TE who could replace Parkinson if they don't resign him. We don't know if Higs will play out his 2-year contract as the other option. There are many possibilities by next offseason. There was a discussion of these in one of the threads. It's a balance of performance expectations and cap space. I asked Gemini what their worth would be in FA should they continue their respective playing levels. Cap space is always hard to figure out this far out. One big reason they drafted Klare was to save on future cap space.

Thanks for the correction & putting me in place.

Well the connection is Parkisan,Allen & Higbee- they basically are the 13 personnel.
Allen is a better blocker & halfback type in it.Makes them hard to stop running or passing.
T. Ferg is getting those Reps,but he is more of a TE that lines up off tackle more.Yes in the slot in close as well,but now he is getting those ADDED REPS he other wise wouldn’t.
—I actually couldn’t tell you off hand who the 3 amigos are,just that those 3 RAMS have something
special going on.
