Didn't hear his name called at all which means he played way better than I thought he would.
Watching his press conference I became very glad to have Eric Weddle on this team.
Very very smart guy, which is huge in a safety.

Fascinated to see how many snaps he got.
Seems like he may have subbed in for Burgess in a few packages.

I don't see the problem. Weddle is probably going to play the SS/LB hybrid that Morris likes to have. As an in the box safety his ability to read plays will be an advantage. I think people are making too much of it. He can only help, I don't see him as a liability in Morris' scheme. If this was Staley's scheme then yeah I can see the problem, but Morris' scheme is wheelchair friendly.

What is Staley scheme. Give 3 points away by putting the defenses backs against the wall ?
Weren’t your Chargers like last in the NFL on defense?

Don’t think he gets as much credit as maybe he should’ve? I just think he brings such a excellent mind set going into practice & the game.

If you're referring to Weddle, perhaps he's making the correct calls because he's seen everything and it showed up first game he was here.

Yeah no crap - Von Miller LOVES him, so does Mcvay & RAMsey.

It’s what he brings of the field as well. He is a extension of Raheem Morris as well to players.

Rapp I’m sure really digs him as well. That might have been when he was at his best. The dude taught Mcvay about defense when he was a Ram for that one season.

John Johnson was the first DB that took over play calling because of him.

The NFL is a copy-cat league & now DB’s are calling the plays.I will state this as well, that I’m sure he helped Reeder as well to feel more confident.Even if that is a false statement there is no way that Ernest Jones isn’t going to benefit in his NFL career from some nugget Eric Weedle will give to him just this week alone in practice.

Everyone calling for Raheem Morris’s head. I LMAO at that!!! The black & white connects. The Brian Song connection that The Rams players have had a AWESOME!!
Hager-littleton
Fox-Brookers
Woods-Kupp
AD99-SJD69-Greg freaking Gaines
Whit-Hav-Noteboom
RAMsey-Weedle-Johnson

These players have ALL pushed themselves to be better practice in practice out.Game in game out.Day in day out.The working relationships they have all had together is special. This was even before Sean Mcvay, but The Rams culture as a team is once again AWESOME!!!

You go to camp, practice,or games & you’ll see it.The Rapp & RAMsey thing was just a competitive thing which might have been a little more? Troy Reeder was asked about it though & said he played with his Brother at Delaware. There was no one on the team that got into it more than them.He said he sort of laughed inside about it. Kupp played with his brother & I think he was even a Ram.Maybe the season he had to rehab? The Woods Kupp thing will only get stronger from Kupps support.
players like Tutu Atwell & Harris will benefit from being mentored from Woods.

Morris & Mcvay’s go way back before Morris & or he was married. They are like Brothers as well with there relationships, friendship & bond.

It’s upsetting to me when some fans attack & post about certain things & don’t have an understanding about the connections on & off the field which help make people, players, & teams great because of what goes into it all.I could be WAY off on all of this.I have seen in though when I watch relationships.

I do find it very cool though.

Brockers & Fox had a good relationship when AD99 was holding out.Morgan Fox was so business like. Then when Wade came in Fox got hurt from trying to play OLB.
Brockers has always been the team leader on defense.Last season Gaines & Fox really worked well together & The Rams defensive line really took off.Johnson was Wade’s buddy & a solid D’Line coach.Henderson though is Excellent!!!
SJD69 & AD99 where tight.Gaines though is a product of all these defensive lineman’s drive as teammates that have really helped his development.AD99 is Great!! It was nice to see Marquis Copeland come up with a key INT to really put the Cards playoff game away.

I also believe a guy like Brycen Hopkins has never really bought into it all. There is something strange there that is easy to notice.I like his talent level. His NFL career I’m interested in.Josh Reynolds I saw last season didn’t have the best football IQ. It’s not all a God given talent.

Eric Weedle though is just a pure baller.A Gym-Rat .

Hopkins is so mind boggling to me. Dude just looks so disinterested out there. And it's so frustrating. No doubt he has talent, but question his desire sometimes.

Vegas BABY!!

Rams are +7 1/2 to win the SuperBowl.

As a Rams Fan I think I need to make that play ? Tampa Bay I have to say a win for sure.

1.that Monday Night game was perfect for The Rams got healthy & there minds right after watching all the other teams.

2.Tampa is hurting & a road game isn’t bad. They have already beat them.

3.warm weather & a nice get away from distractions. They have the earlier game Sunday which after thinking about it is better.

4. Green Bay & 9ers get to battle it out so that Rams loss might have worked out excellent in that regard.
The Niners at SOFI again would be awesome.Going to Green Bay a 3rd time The Rams are prepared for.Lossing to them isn’t as bad then as it would be now.

5.Tennessee was the best in the AFC - so if you look at The Rams losses they all make sense & The Rams could & should have won almost all of them.

Went to training camp & kept yelling to him he was going to get cut.If you ever watch body language from team(youth) sports,it is easy to pouting. He was like that.

I give him credit for making his first catch as a Ram this season & playing special teams a little.

At this point though does another season change things. Harris & Sko are really going to be better next season.

1,000 % agree

I've been saying this basically since his first PS. For a guy who they had immediate plans for, to be such a non factor is just nuts.

Once again, he surprised me and played well, aside from that soft penalty.

Weddle made his presence known a lot more this game. In on some tackles, and there was an earlier play during our big lead where he ran up and covered a Buc running into the left flat forcing Brady to throw an inc elsewhere.

i was ready for the rams to cut him again after his bonehead play in the 4th. luckily the bounce of the ball saved the rams bacon.
