Remember last year after they played Dallas, he went into the Cowboys locker room and didn't he talk to Garret about playing there this year? He didn't want to be in Seattle at all this season. As a coach, I would think the cancer created by that type of situation would supersede any talent he might have. I'm surprised Carroll put up with that. I'm sure they're wishing they would have traded him at this point. So now does he becomes a free agent and goes where he wants with Seattle getting nothing in return?
I am not surprised at all. Pete has always run his team's with a light hand. He tries to use motivation and self -empowerment as his main tools. It usually works for a few years, then it falls apart with players getting out of control. Even grown men need discipline and structure to succeed as a team. Pete's hands off approach eventually fails.
