If your only excuse is "I wasn't thinking," you might be a dumbass. Bill Belichick, Tom Brady, and their crew would be proud. Btw this is the second dumbass in a row from Rhode Island. What's going on up there @RhodyRams? ;)

Coach fired, team suspended after a 19-year-old suits up for preteen football game
By Stephanie Johnston and Kim Kalunian

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — Spectators watching the Buccaneers team compete Sunday during a Rhode Island Preteen Football League game may have noticed a bizarre play on the field.

Spotted among the 13- and 14-year-old players was a 19-year-old man who suited up to compete against players six years his junior. The man is reportedly the older brother of one of the team members.

“I’m embarrassed, I feel disrespected,” said Alexandra Diaz, the team’s founder. “I feel there are no words that can explain how I feel.”

Diaz said she was extremely upset the Buccaneers’ reputation has been ruined by the coach’s mistake.

“He wasn’t thinking, and that’s all that he could tell me, was that he was not thinking,” she said.

According to Diaz, the coach responsible has been fired and the varsity team has been stripped of the remainder of its season.

Eyewitness News spoke by phone to men who identified themselves as the 19-year-old player and coach but refused to give their names.

The coach apologized for what he described as letting his ego get in the way, saying he saw the older teen suited up to play and sent him out to the field. Both the coach and the 19-year-old also said they are remorseful.

“We all failed. If one goes down, we all fail as a community,” Diaz said. “And that’s what I’m teaching them, so we all lose our season for this.”

Diaz also cited concerns about safety of the players going up against the man as a key reason she took action.

The only reason my beloved State of Florida is far in the lead is because of all the Rhode Islanders who live and visit here now.

This one from Kuwait - Who's the dumbass here? The parrot, the husband, or the wife who took the parrot to the police as evidence?

Parrot reveals husband's affair with housemaid to wife by repeating smutty chats

A parrot landed its owner in hot water after accidentally exposing a husband's affair with the housekeeper - in front of his wife.

The pesky bird began repeating the conversations the man was having with his lover, causing suspicion with his wife .

Realizing that the parrot was picking up the flirty comments from inside the home, she put two and two together and exposed their love affair.

The couple live in Kuwait, where adultery is illegal, and so the wife marched to police with the parrot as evidence.

Luckily for her spouse, they rejected it on the basis that the bird could have overheard the sweet nothings on the TV or radio.

The wife said she has suspected for some time that her husband was cheating on her, according to local newspaper Al Shahed Daily.

Great story.

As you probably know... our parrot allows us to live in his home with him as long as I am his 24/7 servant. LOL

Believe me... parrots are super intelligent. A recent study found out that their brains can function at something like triple the tasks as ours and primates. People have always assumed that the size of the brain determined the level of intelligence... not really true they now know.

Anyway... that wife knows the truth because of the parrot. Parrot owners develop a real communication with their birds. Certain species are more intelligent... but they all communicate. Mine can say anything he wants... and he does. Nothing surprises me anymore with him... he chimes in on conversations all the time. He KNOWS what is being said, and he definitely knows how to respond.

Funny it was the housekeeper. My parrot is in absolute love with ours. It is clear as day and he lets her know it the entire time she's over. Birds are usually very interested in guests... especially guests who show up on a regular routine.

No doubt in my mind that the wife is 100% sure as a result of her parrot. Most people will never understood it.

Birds give me the creeps...skinny legs and all that.

My Beagle has a brain probably 5 times the size of a parrot's and is the dumbest creature I've ever encountered.

LOL

If you look up Ramrasta 's avatar... you'll see our boy Rasta. T had a bracelet of some kind around his neck when the pic was taken. He's basically the same size as a hawk.

@RamFan503 has a pic of him too. He had the honor of kissing him a few years back.

As a kid I worked at a Jack-In-The-Box. One night, along with the sound of police sirens, I heard a man slurring over the speaker(a giant clown head). As he pulled up to the window to get his order, his car scraped the side of the building. Cops opened the passenger side of his car and pulled him out. As they were handcuffing him, he turned to us and said "All I wanted was a cheeseburger and fries."

Speaking of dumbasses, here's another one from Phoenix, AZ.

Man stops at In-N-Out drive thru during police chase
By FOX10 Staff

A man is in custody after leading police on a bizarre chase into the east Valley on Wednesday night.

Phoenix police began following the suspect in Phoenix and the pursuit continued into the east Valley, but it took a bizarre turn when the suspect stopped at an In-N-Out Burger drive-thru near Priest and Ray Roads in Chandler.

The suspect appeared to order food but then drove away and got out of his pickup truck near Rock Wren Way and Ray Road.

He then ran into a backyard and tried to get into a house through the back door. When he couldn't get inside the home, the suspect surrendered to police and was taken into custody.

Police have not released any information about the suspect or any charges.

He probably figured it was going to be his last good meal for a while.

My sister lives in No Cal. Quite a few years ago her husband told me a guy broke out of Folsom Prison. The prisoner surrendered shortly after. He broke out because he wanted beer and ice cream.

If he considers In-N-Out food to be a good meal, he has more problems than just being a dumbass.

I should write a book on what I experienced while working at Jack-In-The-Box but (a) I'd get sued (b) no one would believe it. Suffice it to say, I NEVER eat at fast-food joints.

I witnessed employees peeing in the fryers(btw it splatters), wiping their butts with hamburger buns, blowing their nose in the "secret sauce," etc. This is what happens when customers insult employees. But who can blame them when they're expected to talk into a giant, stupid clown head.

I make it a point to NEVER upset anyone preparing my food.

Nothing like a pissed off employee making minimum wage.

Exactly. How stupid does someone have to be to insult someone making their food, especially because they are hidden from view. Now you could insult the chefs at Benihana because they're right in front of you, but they can flick food at you and they do have sharp knives. :sneaky:

Not to defend the fast food industry as it mostly churns out garbage but In-n-Out is not a typical fast food franchise. First of all, they pay better than most any of the others. Second, they require that the people behind the register look you in the eye and even actually count your change back to you in perfect English - no matter where they are from. Third, go in and watch their operation. As a restaurant owner, I have to say it is the most phenomenal operation I have ever watched. Fourth - note that the way they lay out their kitchens, you can see everything that is going on with your food unless they were to go inside the walk-in to do something. And even then it would be very difficult as they are almost always busy and from my understanding, there is a long list of people trying to get jobs there.

I've never had a bad visit. I've never had my order wrong.
The employees are polite and motivated. They also pay well.

But In-n-Out food is not good. I hate eating there. I really don't understand the fascination everyone has with it.
